    摘要: A variable displacement compressor includes a simplified hinge mechanism located between a rotary support and a swash plate. The hinge mechanism includes a swing arm extending from the swash plate and a pair of support arms extending from the rotary support such that the swing arm is placed between the support arms. A guide pin is attached to the swing arm. The guide pin has end portions engaging with guide holes of the support arms. Washers are located between the swing arm and the support arms to prevent the swing arm from directly contacting the support arms.

    摘要: A variable type compressor has a housing that houses a crank chamber and rotatably supports a drive shaft. Part of the housing is constituted by a cylinder block. Cylinder bores extend through the housing about the drive shaft. A piston is accommodated in each cylinder bore. A discharge chamber is defined in the housing and connected to the crank chamber by a pressurizing passage. An inclinable cam plate is supported on the drive shaft. The reciprocation of each piston draws refrigerant gas into the associated cylinder bore from a suction chamber and discharges the refrigerant gas into the discharge chamber through a discharge port. The displacement and the discharge of refrigerant gas is controlled by altering the inclination of the cam plate. A collection compartment is provided to receive the refrigerant gas discharged from the cylinder bores. Oil is separated from the refrigerant gas in the collection compartment. The inlet of the pressurizing passage is connected with the collection compartment to supply the separated oil to the crank chamber.

The oil separator is constructed by a front part 61 integral to a front housing 11 and a rear part 62 integral to a cylinder block 12. The oil separator has an oil separation chamber 1 formed between the front and the rear parts 61 and 62. The oil separator is formed integrally with oil separating passageway forming plates 67 and 68 which partially divide the separation chamber 63 to create a serpentine shaped passageway 66 which extends from an inlet 64a to an outlet 65 of the separation chamber. The passageway 66 is in communication with the crank chamber 15 via a oil return passageway 69 at a location adjacent its outlet.

The swash-plate-body member and the guide-bracket member are connected together by press-fitting and prevented, by a rotation-preventing unit, from being relatively rotated against one another.
