摘要: An airflow control valve is composed of a housing forming an air passage therein and an electromagnetically driven valve disposed in the air passage. The valve divides the air passage into an upstream passage having an air inlet port and a downstream passage having an outlet port open to an exhaust pipe. A barrier facing an exhaust gas blown back from the exhaust pipe is formed in the downstream passage in order to reduce an amount of deposits accumulating on and around the valve due to foreign particles contained in the exhaust gas. The barrier may be a dead end space in which the exhaust gas stagnates or a wall interfering with a flow of the exhaust gas. A one-way valve may be disposed immediately downstream of the valve to prevent the exhaust gas from flowing toward the valve.

摘要: An axial groove is provided in an inner peripheral wall surface of a motor case of a housing of a motor actuator, and a spring installation opening is provided to the axial groove at a location adjacent to an opening end of a motor receiving hole of the motor case, which receives a motor. A damper spring is inserted into the groove through the spring installation opening. The damper spring urges the motor against first and second ridges formed in the inner peripheral wall surface of the motor case.

摘要: A torque-transmitting device is advantageously applied to a secondary air control valve mounted on an automotive vehicle. The device includes a gear train for reducing a rotational speed of a motor and a mechanism for converting a rotational motion to a linear motion of a valve shaft. The gear train includes a final gear coupled to the valve shaft, and the final gear includes a flange positioned at an axial end of an axis of the final gear. A coil spring for biasing the final gear toward a predetermined position is disposed next to the flange and around the axis of the final gear. Slits or holes are formed through the flange, so that holding jigs for holing the coil spring are inserted, in an assembling process, into a cylindrical space between an inner circumference of the coil spring and the axis of the final gear.

摘要: In an idle speed control valve, an adjusting screw is inserted into a hole of a valve body and passes through a center of a coil provided in the valve body. The adjusting screw has a ring-shaped flexible projection on its outer periphery between a head portion and a threaded portion thereof to prevent a sealing material from entering. An outer diameter of the projection is equal to or slightly larger than an inner diameter of the hole. Therefore, when the adjusting screw is inserted into the hole, a peak of the projection contacts an inner wall of the hole. The projection may be integrally molded with the adjusting screw. A ring-shaped projection may be provided on a thin wall portion of the adjusting screw.

A secondary molding is performed including a piece for regulating the axial moving distance of a valve member, to mold a housing of the fluid controlling electromagnetic valve.

摘要: A fluid-controlled valve includes a housing, a valve, and a sealing member. The housing has an annular valve seat, which has a fluid passing hole therein. The valve sits on or is separated from the valve seat to close or open the fluid passing hole respectively. The sealing member is attached on the valve. The sealing member has a sealing lip, which is closely attached to the valve seat while the fluid passing hole is closed by the valve, to seal a gap between the valve seat and the valve. The sealing member has a load receiving portion, which contacts the valve seat while the fluid passing hole is closed by the valve, in addition to the sealing lip.

摘要: A valve member includes a first communication passage for allowing a first passage to communicate with a first pressure chamber. When a pressure-receiving member contacts the valve member, a communication between the first communication passage and the first pressure chamber is shut. Magnetic force of a permanent magnet urges a shaft toward the pressure-receiving member. While a coil is not energized, when pressure inside a second passage rises, the pressure-receiving member leaves the valve member due to pressure difference between pressure inside the first pressure chamber and pressure inside a second pressure chamber, so that the first passage communicates with the second passage through the first communication passage. When the coil is energized, magnetic repelling force is introduced between a stator core and the permanent magnet, so that the pressure-receiving member and the shaft depart from the valve member to allow the first passage to communicate with the second passage.
