    摘要: A positive electrode is composed of a film-shaped active material, which is composed of a conducting polymer serving as a first active material, and an electrochemical active material serving as a second active material which is uniformly dispersed in the shape of particles in the conducting polymer, with the parts-by-weight ratio of the second active material to the first active material being 3 to 9 parts of the second active material to 7 to 1 part of the first active material, when the total of the first active material and the second active material is 10 parts. A secondary battery is fabricated using the above positive electrode.

    摘要: The present invention provides a composite sheet electrode which has high strength, excellent current collecting properties and which is used efficiently as an active material for an electrode. The electrode has excellent discharge capacities and can be easily formed into an electrode terminal. A cell employing this electrode is also disclosed. The invention also provides a composite sheet electrode having a porosity of 20 to 80% containing 5 to 95% by weight of an active material of an electrode, 1 to 50% by weight of a current collecting material and heat fusible short fibers. The present invention also provides a composite sheet electrode having a porosity of 20 to 80%, which is made up of a composite sheet containing 5 to 95% by weight of an active material as an electrode and 5 to 95% by weight of heat fusible short fibers, as well as a current collecting material layer formed on said composite sheet. The present invention further provides a cell employing the latter-mentioned composite sheet electrode.

    摘要: Polymers having repeat units represented by formula (Ia) in the main chain thereof, ##STR1## wherein Ar represents an aromatic conjugated group, and n is 10 or more, and a method of producing polymers having repeat units of general formula (I), ##STR2## wherein Ar represents an aromatic conjugated group, and X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 each represent hydrogen or halogen when the bond between the two carbon atoms is a double bond, and when the bond is a triple bond, neither X.sup.1 nor X.sup.2 exist by the electrochemical reduction of a monomer having general formula,Z.sup.1 -Ar-Z.sup.2 (II),wherein Ar is the same as that defined in the above formula (I), and Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.2 each represent a methyl halide, are disclosed. These polymers are semiconductive or electroconductive and can be used as an active material of the electrodes of organic secondary batteries.
