    摘要: A swash plate type compressor has a rotary shaft, an inclined swash plate for rotation with the shaft, and a plurality of pistons connected to the swash plate. Each piston defines at both ends thereof a pair of working chambers. The piston reciprocates while being subjected to a swing motion concomitant with the rotation of the swash plate, to suck a fluid into the working chambers for compression. The swash plate is mounted on the shaft through a support unit which serves to selectively vary the inclination of the swash plate and shift the center of rotation of the swash plate along the shaft. The fluid is introduced from a suction passage through and around the swash plate to suction chambers formed adjacent the working chambers. A bypass passage is formed to directly communicate the suction passage with the suction chamber on one side of the shaft while bypassing the swash plate. When the inclination of the swash plate is decreased and the rotational center position thereof is shifted so that substantially no compression of fluid is completed in the working chambers on the one side of the shaft to decrease the displacement of the compressor, the fluid flows in the one side suction chamber through the bypass passage responsively to the flow of fluid toward another side working chambers to lubricate and cool sliding parts for the shaft.

    摘要: A swash-plate type compressor comprises a plurality of cylinder chambers parallel to each other, a shaft, a swash plate connected to the shaft for rotation therewith and for wobbling motion due to the rotation, and a plurality of pistons subject to wobbling motion of the swash plate for reciprocation within the respective cylinder chambers. The shaft and the swash plate are connected to each other through a slot formed in one of them and a pin provided on the other, so the swash plate can wobble. A position of a center of rotation of the swash plate is supported by a spool device movable in coaxial relation to the shaft. Displacement of the spool device causes the position of the center of rotation of the swash plate and an inclination thereof to be varied to vary a reciprocative stroke of each piston, thereby controlling discharge capacity of the compressor. The engaging slot has a section thereof between positions corresponding respectively to a maximum discharge capacity and an intermediate discharge capacity of the compressor, which section is formed into a nonlinear configuration in such a manner that an angle between a normal line of the slot and an axis of the shaft decreases at a position corresponding to a large discharge capacity of the compressor, thereby restraining an increase in inclined moment acting upon the swash plate due to a dead volume occurring in the working chamber on one side of the piston at a large capacity of the compressor.

    摘要: In a swash plate type compressor, a rotational shaft makes a piston reciprocate through a swash plate. A suction valve plate is connected to an eccentric portion of the shaft and caused to orbit around an axis of the shaft by rotation of the shaft. Friction between the suction valve plate and a contacting end wall in which a suction port is formed naturally suppresses the rotational motion of the valve plate. Therefore, the valve plate substantially orbits about the shaft axis without rotating and opens and closes the suction port. A relative velocity between the valve plate and the end wall when the valve plate orbits without rotating is smaller than when the valve plate only rotates.

    摘要: An improved displacement control valve incorporated in a variable displacement compressor. The control valve includes a valve body and a solenoid for actuating the valve body. The coil of the solenoid is wound about a bobbin made of insulating synthetic resin. A base plate integrally protrudes from the bobbin. A pair of conducting plates are secured to the base plate. Each plate has a clamping block. The coil has a pair of terminal wires. Each terminal wire is secured to and electrically corrected to one of the clamping blocks. Each terminal wire is wound about a holder formed in each plate between the bobbin and the corresponding clamping block. A diode is secured to the holders and is connected in parallel with the coil. A pair of terminals of the diode are secured to the corresponding holders by soldering and crimping. The holders prevent tension in the terminal wires from being applied to electrical joints formed between the wires and the clamping blocks, which makes the valve more reliable.

In the stratified combustion operation and at the time of the brake operation to cause the vehicle to stop, the volume in the compressor is controlled to reduce the load on the compressor by a prescribed amount when the detected brake negative pressure is below a prescribed value.
