摘要: A swash plate type compressor has a rotary shaft, an inclined swash plate for rotation with the shaft, and a plurality of pistons connected to the swash plate. Each piston defines at both ends thereof a pair of working chambers. The piston reciprocates while being subjected to a swing motion concomitant with the rotation of the swash plate, to suck a fluid into the working chambers for compression. The swash plate is mounted on the shaft through a support unit which serves to selectively vary the inclination of the swash plate and shift the center of rotation of the swash plate along the shaft. The fluid is introduced from a suction passage through and around the swash plate to suction chambers formed adjacent the working chambers. A bypass passage is formed to directly communicate the suction passage with the suction chamber on one side of the shaft while bypassing the swash plate. When the inclination of the swash plate is decreased and the rotational center position thereof is shifted so that substantially no compression of fluid is completed in the working chambers on the one side of the shaft to decrease the displacement of the compressor, the fluid flows in the one side suction chamber through the bypass passage responsively to the flow of fluid toward another side working chambers to lubricate and cool sliding parts for the shaft.

The compressor has a control valve which determines a control pressure to be supplied to a control pressure chamber behind the spool, between the level of a low-pressure introduced from a low-pressure side of the compressor and a high-pressure introduced from a high-pressure side of the compressor.

摘要: A compressor bypass passage has an inlet portion and an outlet portion which is connected to the suction passage. The inlet portion of the bypass passage has an opening which is able to be open to the compression chamber when the compression chamber is in a decreasing volume stroke, thereby to spill the refrigerant from the compression chamber into the suction passage. A control pressure chamber is formed in the housing. A valve member is arranged in the inlet portion of the bypass passage. The valve member is actuated in response to a variety of pressures of the refrigerant in the control pressure chamber for adjusting the area of the opening of the inlet portion of the bypass passage. A pressure supply passage for supplying a refrigerant, which pressure is higher than the pressure in the suction passage, is connected to the control pressure chamber. A spill passage for spilling a part of the refrigerant interconnects the control pressure chamber to the suction passage. A pressure control valve is arranged in the pressure supply passage or in the spill passage for controlling the pressure in the control pressure chamber.

摘要: The deterioration (darkness) of image quality due to a reduction in the brightness of a single color as a result of the conversion from RGB pixels to RGBW pixels is prevented and a reduction in the power is achieved.A processing portion for conversion from RGB to RGBW 106 is formed of a W generating circuit 201, which is the same as in the prior art, a sub-pixel rendering circuit 202, a W intensity calculating portion 203 which transmits a W intensity setting value 205 to a W generating circuit 201, and a low power backlight control circuit 204 which expands data on the basis of the RGBW pixels generated by the sub-pixel rendering portion 202 and lowers the backlight in accordance with the amount by which the data is expanded. The inputted RGB data is used as the RGBW data with the W intensity calculated by the W intensity calculating portion 203. A backlight control signal is generated in accordance with the amount of data expansion in the sub-pixel rendering portion 202.

摘要: Overdrive over multiple frames is made more efficient in a display device drive circuit that drives a display device so slow in response that target brightness is not reached even after overdrive is performed for one frame. When a display gray scale is changed from a first gray scale to a second gray scale, a display driving device varies overdrive driving voltage according to the number of frames since the point of time of the change. This makes it possible to obtain high-speed luminance response. When the number of frames for which an identical image is continuously displayed is known beforehand, the number of frames is set in a display pattern setting register and a function of detecting timing of a change of images is provided. This enables efficient overdrive. At low temperature, further, a display image is updated once for several frames according to temperature information. This enhances the visibility of the image.
