摘要： Motor-control device for an image forming apparatus includes a motor, an encoder, a microcomputer, and a driving circuit. The encoder generates a pulse signal in response to rotation of the motor. The microcomputer includes a CPU, a RAM and a ROM. The CPU detects actual rotational speed of the motor based upon the pulse signal generated by the encoder. The CPU cyclically provides a driving signal by comparing the actual rotational speed with a predetermined target rotational speed of the motor. An operating cycle is proportional to a cycle of the pulse signal generated by the encoder. The driving circuit drives the motor based upon the driving signal provided by the CPU. The CPU determines the operating cycle based upon the predetermined target rotational speed. The CPU also determines whether the motor condition is normal or abnormal by comparing the driving signal with a predetermined reference driving signal.

摘要： An overhead projector in which a light from a light source is transmitted through an original, and a resulting original image is projected on a screen by means of a projection optical system including a projection lens and a half-mirror. At the same time, the original image is transmitted through the half-mirror, and delivered to a record medium by means of an exposure optical system. The exposure optical system includes a shutter member which can be shifted between a shielding mode and a copying mode. In the shielding mode, the optical path of the exposure optical system is closed to permit projection on the screen. In the copying mode, the optical path is opened so that the original image, to which the record medium is exposed, is visualized on the record medium by a developing process. At the end of the copying mode, the record medium is discharged into a tray.

摘要： An image recording apparatus for recording an image on a photosensitive recording medium employs an elongated continuous form photosensitive recording medium capable of receiving a latent image of an output image to be formed, and a cut sheet type of a developer recording medium which produces an output image upon reaction with the latent image on the photosensitive recording medium. The apparatus comprises an exposing unit having an exposure position at which the elongated continuous form photosensitive recording medium fed along a photosensitive recording medium feeding path is exposed to a light image to form a latent image thereon, a developing unit disposed downstream of the exposing unit with respect to the photosensitive recording medium path which develops the exposed photosensitive recording medium superposed with the developer medium, and a separating unit disposed downstream of the developing unit with respect to the photosensitive recording medium feeding path which separates the exposed photosensitive recording medium from the developer recording medium. The image recording apparatus further comprises a starting unit for starting a recording operation upon user operation thereof, a photosensitive recording medium feeding unit that feeds the photosensitive recording medium from a position downstream of the separation unit to the exposure position through the developing unit, and a prohibiting unit which prohibits the starting of a recording operation when the starting unit is actuated during a time at which the photosensitive recording medium is being fed from the position downstream of the separation unit to the exposure position. The present invention is also applicable to image recording machines which employ a single sheet type of recording medium.

摘要： An MRI apparatus having a configuration that reduces vibration of a static magnetic field generating source is provided. A closed vessel 2 of the static magnetic field generating source is provided with a rigid structure 4 for preventing transmission of vibration generated from a gradient magnetic field generating part 21 to other members via the closed vessel 2. The rigid structure 4 uses, for example, a connecting part 4 that connects a face 25 on the imaging space side and a face 26 confronting it. The rigidity of the closed vessel is thereby increased, and therefore vibration transmitted from the gradient magnetic field generating part can be reduced. The connecting part can have a through-hole structure, and in such a case, internal space of through-hole can be used for drawing cables.

摘要： An endoscope-like image taking method of the present invention includes a preparation step of providing at least one peculiar index, which can be discriminated from other portions on an MR image, at the tip of a catheter, a first step (S1) of previously inserting a metal guide wire for guiding the catheter into a body cavity of a patient into which the catheter is inserted, a second step (S2) of inserting the catheter into the body cavity along the guide wire, a third step (S3) of executing an MR imaging sequence of a plurality of sliced images intersecting the guide wire, a fourth step (S4) of reconstructing three-dimensional image data based upon the nuclear magnetic resonance signals, which are generated from the patient when the sequence is executed and are received by the guide wire, and determining the tip position and the inserting direction of the catheter by detecting the peculiar index provided at the tip of the catheter based upon the three-dimensional image data, and a fifth step (S5) of reconstructing the center projected image using the three-dimensional image data and setting the tip position and the inserting direction of the catheter as a view point and a line-of-sight direction and displaying the center projected image on a display means, thereby an endoscope-like image, which is observed from the catheter in the body cavity of the patient, is taken and displayed in real time or semi-real time so that the insertion of the catheter is supported.

摘要： An image recording apparatus having a sheet cartridge in which a rolled photosensitive recording medium is accommodated. The sheet cartridge has a sheet retaining device for preventing the recording medium from being retracted into a cartridge casing. The retaining device also provides a light shielding member. The image recording apparatus also includes structure for preventing the cartridge from being removed in a case where a residual recording medium is still rolled in the cartridge casing. The image recording apparatus is provided with a wiper member for removing dusts deposited on a surface of a feed roller. Further, a sensor element is provided for detecting non-rotation of a takeup shaft or a slack of the recording medium.
