    摘要: A communication card and the structure of a jack therefor. The end face of the card is provided with a slit-like aperture. Into the aperture there is inserted a base plate having a thickness smaller than the width of the aperture so as to allow insertion into the interior of the card and removal from the card. The base plate is provided with a notch directed to the outside when viewed from the card. The notch passes through the base plate in the direction of its thickness. The jack is formed by utilizing this notch. The plug, on the other hand, is of a rectangular parellelpiped shape and is electrically coupled to a cord. The inner surface of the notch is configured so as to be able to receive the plug. When the plug is inserted, the notch receives and holds the plug. At that time, the notch receives and holds the plug in such a manner that the direction of the longest edge among the edges of the plug, or the extending direction of the cord is parallel to the major planes of the card.

    摘要: A CATV system comprises two coaxial cables (11, 12) for transmitting information obtained from a center unit, a slide switch (1), and a CATV converter (30). As a slider (73) of the slide switch is slided in one direction with the same in contact with a common contact (101) connected to the CATV converter, the slider is placed in contact with a first fixed contact (104) connected to one coaxial cable while a first terminating contact (110) connected to a first terminating resistor (13) is separated from the first fixed contact. When the slider is slided in the other direction, the slider is placed in contact with a second fixed contact (107) connected to the other coaxial cable, while a second terminating contact (111) connected to the second terminating resistor (14) is separated from the second fixed contact. Accordingly, each of the coaxial cables is not opened through selection of the slide switch, whereby mixing of an image is prevented from occurring due to mismatching.

A resistor film is formed between the other electrode and the lead out electrode, and electrical connection is made between the metallic cylinder and the one electrode, and an electrical connection is also made between the metallic cylinder and the lead out electrode, while these are mechanically fixed.

    摘要: An antenna device used for a UHF tuner or the like, which comprises a combination of an antenna coil formed of single-covered wire with an insulator covering the antenna coil. The insulator is dividedly molded into a coil containing member having an antenna coil containing recess and a terminal member having a pair of antenna terminals and a resistor containing recess, a fitting portion to be fitted between the coil containing member and the terminal member is provided, and at the terminal member a cover for closing an opening at the coil containing recess. The coil containing member containing the antenna coil in the coil containing recess and the terminal member containing a resistor in the resistor containing recess are integrally connected by press-fitting of the fitting portion and the antenna coil is housed in the insulator, thereby obtaining the insulating property equivalent to a double covered wire without deforming the the coil during or after the assembly of the antenna device.
