    摘要: A support device of a propeller shaft comprises an annular bracket fixed to a floor member of a vehicle body; an annular elastic member disposed in the annular bracket; an annular supporting structure disposed in the annular elastic member and rotatably supporting a cylindrical given portion of the propeller shaft through a ball bearing unit; and an annular seal member intimately disposed in an annular space defined between the annular supporting structure and the cylindrical given portion of the propeller shaft. One of outer and inner cylindrical surfaces of the annular seal member is in slidable contact with either one of an inner cylindrical surface of the annular supporting structure and an outer cylindrical surface of the cylindrical given portion of the propeller shaft. A rust-proofing member is further provided, which is disposed on either one of the inner cylindrical surface of the annular supporting structure and the outer cylindrical surface of the cylindrical given portion of the propeller shaft, to which the outer or inner cylindrical surface of the annular seal member directly and slidably contacts. The rust-proofing member is made of a rust-resistant material.

    摘要: A shaft coupling includes an annular plate having a proper axial flexibility. The annular plate is formed with mounting holes. A first group of coupled portions are fixedly connected to an input shaft, whereas a second group of coupled portions are fixedly connected to an output shaft. The first and second groups of coupled portions are coupled with each other through the annular plate placed therebetween, so that the first and second groups of coupled portions circumferentially alternate with each other. The annular plate has coupling arm portions each extending between two adjacent mounting holes to absorb axial vibrations. A radial width of the coupling arm portion is dimensioned to be narrower than a radial width of a peripheral region of each of the mounting holes. A length of the coupling arm portion is dimensioned to be longer than a distance between the two adjacent mounting holes.

    摘要: A heater cable is wired in combination with a lead cable, the two cables form a pattern wherein the heater cable and the lead cable are spaced by a predetermined distance L, in the range of 0 to 10 mm, from each other and are supplied with opposite flow of current. The heater cable has a core thread, a heating element wire wound in a spiral on the outer surface of the core thread, a fusing layer provided over the heating element wire, a signal wire wound in a spiral on the outer surface of the fusing layer and a protective coating provided over the signal wire. The lead cable has a conductive wire covered at its outer surface with an insulating coating.

The excavator has an arch shaped shield provided with a plurality of chambers in which excavating machines are located. Each of the excavating machines is swingably supported in the respective chamber and gripper means for securely abutting against the outer and inner surfaces of the solid earth formed by the upper half annular hollow space is located in each of the chambers. Thrust generating means is connected between the respective excavating machines and the respective gripper means so that the excavating machines can be advanced by the action of the thrust generating means when the gripper means is actuated to abut against the earth.

    摘要: A shaft coupling structure for male and female shaft components of a vehicular propeller shaft includes a sleeve shaft having a substantially rigid first end, an annular flange formed therearound at a central location at which the sleeve shaft connects to a tube member, and a reduced diameter portion which extends from the flange into the tube portion. A plurality of splines are formed in the axial direction of the sleeve shaft and are interposed between an inner wall of the rigid first end and a stub yoke which is inserted into the first end for co-rotation therewith. Further, a grease cap, or other lubrication device may be provided at an end of the reduced diameter portion. Also, around the reduced diameter portion, between the inner wall of the tube and the outer side of the reduced diameter portion, a vibration damping device, as well as an insertion guide device may be provided for improving smoothness and reducing operational noise for the shaft coupling structure.
