摘要: A short-circuit detector has connected between positive and negative terminals of a DC power source a series connection including sequentially a first switch, a first detection resistor, a second detection resistor and a second switch, a third switch between a grounding terminal such as a vehicle chassis and a point between the first and second detection resistors and a voltage detector circuit connected in parallel with the first and second detection resistors. A control circuit is connected to the voltage detector circuit, serving to calculate a voltage value of the DC power source by switching on only the first and second switches, to calculate a first voltage drop value across the first detection resistor by switching on only the first and third switches, to calculate a second voltage drop value across the second detection resistor by switching on only the second and third switches and to determine presence or absence of short-circuited conditions at the positive and negative terminals of the DC power source on the basis of the calculated voltage value, the first voltage drop value and the second voltage drop value.

摘要: Peripheral surfaces of end portions of individual optical fibers constituting a first optical fiber array are in close contact with an optical fiber fitting surface of a base, while the peripheral surfaces of the end portions of the individual optical fibers are in close contact with one another. Peripheral surfaces of end portions of optical fibers on both sides out of the individual optical fibers constituting the first optical fiber array are in close contact with a pair of stopper members, respectively, disposed on both sides of an end portion of the first optical fiber array. A second optical fiber or optical fiber array is opposed to an end face of the end portion of the first optical fiber array. Between projecting portions of the pair of stopper members projected from the end face of the first optical fiber array, peripheral surfaces of end portions of the individual optical fibers constituting the second optical fiber or optical fiber array are in close contact with the optical fiber fitting surface of the base.

摘要: A polarized relay with an electromagnetic drive comprises an electromagnetic yoke composed of a core wound with a coil and a yoke body, and having one end portion of one magnetic polarity and a pair of bifurcated end portions of the other magnetic polarity opposite to the one magnetic polarity. The bifurcated end portions are separated in opposition from each other. The one end portion of the yoke is disposed between the bifurcated end portions so as to cooperate to form a pair of working gaps. A movable block of a substantially C-like configuration incorporating a permanent magnet has two magnetic pole pieces which are disposed within the working gaps, respectively. Guide is provided for guiding the movable block in response to energization and deenergization of the coil so that the pole pieces are movable within the respective working gaps. A contact mechanism including movable contacts is mechanically coupled to the movable block to make or break circuit.

摘要: A solid state relay comprises a radiator, a control circuit block and a power circuit cartridge. The radiator has a base portion and a plurality of fins extending from the base portion. The control circuit block has a pair of input terminals and a pair of load terminals and is attached to a front surface of the base portion of the radiator. The power circuit cartridge includes therein a power semiconductor element which is turned on or off by a control circuit in the control circuit block, an absorber which is connected between the pair of load terminals, and a heat radiating plate to radiate heat of the power semiconductor element. The power circuit cartridge is detachably attached to the control circuit block so as to be electrically connected thereto. A through space is formed in the control circuit block so as to pierce from a front surface of the control circuit block to the front surface of the base portion of the radiator. The power circuit cartridge is inserted into the through space. The heat radiating plate of the power circuit cartridge is joined to a portion of the base portion front surface of the radiator.

摘要: An electromagnetic contactor according to the present invention is so constructed that the electromagnetic device and the fixed point of contact are fixedly fitted into a casing which is divisible in the direction along the moving direction of a polar contact. Moreover, a bottom casing with a screw mounting hole is fitted in the outer peripheral portion at the lower end of the casing. Therefore, the rigidity of the casing as a whole is enhanced, and at the same time the working characteristics can be prevented from being changed when the screw is mounted. Furthermore, the positioning accuracy of the electromagnetic device relative to the fixed point of contact is determined only by the dimensional accuracy of the casing and the electromagnetic device, and by the position accuracy of the fixed point of contact. The contact pressure is improved to be stable.

摘要: This electromagnetic relay includes: a base assembly; an electromagnetic block assembly, mounted to the base, including an iron core and an electromagnetic coil wound around the core; a movable block assembly, which is selectively attracted by the electromagnetic block assembly according to energization of the electromagnetic coil thereof, and is movable along a direction perpendicular to the axial line of the iron core; a contact mechanism including a movable contact support member actuated by the movement of the movable block assembly, a movable contact mounted to the movable contact support member near one extremity thereof, a fixed terminal member supporting the movable contact support member from the base assembly near another extremity thereof, a fixed contact support member mounted to the base assembly opposing the movable contact support member, and a fixed contact mounted to the fixed contact support member opposing the movable contact; a means for guiding the movable block assembly along the aforesaid direction perpendicular to the axial line of the iron core; a projection formed on a surface of the movable block assembly facing the base assembly; and a guide projection wall, extending from the base assembly, along a surface formed on which the projection slides; the movable block assembly being engaged to the movable contact support member so as to be substantially fixed thereto with regard to mutual movement along the axial direction of the movable contact support member. Thereby, wobbling of the movable block assembly is prevented.

摘要: An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet, an armature assembly opposed to the electromagnet which moves according to the selective energization of the electromagnet, a contact mechanism which operates according to the movement of the armature assembly, and a pair of sheet springs which support the armature assembly so that it can reciprocate along its direction of motion. Thus, because the biasing force characteristic curve may be altered by altering the spring forces and characteristics of either or both of the sheet springs, it is possible to greatly expand the possible range and variety of adjustment of the relay, as opposed to the case in which only one sheet spring is used. The two sheet springs may optionally be mounted one on either side of the armature assembly, with respect to its direction of motion. And, optionally, a first one of the sheet springs is coupled to the armature assembly by its central portion and to a fixed member by its two end portions, while a second one of the sheet springs is coupled to the armature assembly by its two end portions and to a fixed member by its central portion. The fixing of the springs to the armature assembly and/or to the fixed members may either be loose, sliding, turning, or cantilever type; each has its benefits in terms of preventing wobbling of the armature assembly. The armature assembly may be provided with guide feet for keeping its motion rectilinear and orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the electromagnet.

摘要: A polarized electromagnetic relay apparatus for assembling a coil spool with a terminal carrying base plate is disclosed. The coil spool assembly has a front collar with a projecting piece. The projecting piece is adapted to engage with a latch hole in the terminal carrying base plate. The terminal carrying base plate has jaw-like, offset portions which engage with supporting offset portions formed in the rear collar of the coil spool assembly. The flexible projecting pieces may be of deformable material in order to easily engage with the latch hole of the base plate. The flexible projecting pieces can be tapered, also to facilitate engagement with the base plate latch hole. A terminal holder is formed on the rear collar of the coil spool assembly and is adapted to receive terminals from the coil. The terminal holder comprises the supporting offset portions which engage with the jaw-like offset portions of the base plate. The terminal holder is of a greater thickness than the base plate.
