摘要: A compressor has a compression unit for compressing gas to a desired pressure, a drive shaft and a balancer. The drive shaft is connected to the compression unit for driving the compression unit. Imbalance on the drive shaft is generated due to movement of the compression unit. The balancer is mounted on the drive shaft and includes a main portion and adjustable portion for correcting the imbalance on the drive shaft. Preferably, at least one of the weight and the shape of the adjustable portion is adjustable.

摘要: The scroll-type compressor with an integrated motor of the present invention comprises a housing 1, a fixed scroll 21 fixed to the housing 1, a movable scroll 31 installed eccentrically to the fixed scroll 21, and a motor portion 5, and is characterized in that the housing 1 comprises a high pressure chamber 25 to which compressed gases are supplied, a first cooling chamber 26′ installed contiguous to the high pressure chamber 25 and to which cooling fluid is supplied, a second cooling chamber 42 which cools the motor portion 5 and is supplied with the cooling fluid, and a fluid passage 7 that connects the first cooling chamber 26′ and the second cooling chamber 42 and passes the cooling fluid in the direction from the first cooling chamber 26′ to the second cooling chamber 42.

摘要: A scroll type compressor has a housing, a fixed metal scroll member and a movable metal scroll member. The fixed and the movable scroll members each have a base plate and scroll wall extending therefrom. The fixed scroll member is fixed to the housing. The movable scroll member engages the fixed scroll member to trace an orbital motion when driven by a crank mechanism. The scroll members define compression chambers. Resin tip seals are respectively provided on distal ends of the scroll walls and slidably engage the metallic surfaces of the facing base plates. The tip seals seal the compression chambers. A resin coating layer is formed on a region of at least one of the end surfaces of the base plates that is not contacted by a tip seal.

摘要: A compressor, which is cooled by cooling medium, includes a compression chamber, a first cooling chamber and a second cooling chamber. In the compression chamber, gas is compressed and then discharged therefrom. The first cooling chamber, in which the cooling medium flows, is provided so as to adjoin the compression chamber for cooling the gas in the compression chamber. The second cooling chamber adjoins the first cooling chamber. The second cooling chamber has a gas passage in which the discharged gas flows and a medium passage in which the cooling medium flows. The medium passage is arranged so as to restrain transmission of heat of the discharged gas in the gas passage to the cooling medium in the first cooling chamber.

摘要: An improved viscous heater is disclosed. The viscous heater has a heating chamber accommodating viscous fluid and a rotor. The rotor rotates to shear and heat the viscous fluid. The heating chamber has a pair of inner flat surfaces and an inner peripheral surface. The rotor has a pair of outer flat surfaces that respectively opposes the inner flat surfaces by predetermined gaps and an outer peripheral surface that opposes the inner peripheral surface. The outer peripheral surface has peripheral edge portions each angularly and continuously extending from the outer flat surface. The peripheral edge is chamfered so that the rotor is prevented from interfering with the inner flat surfaces.

摘要: An improved viscous fluid heater is disclosed. The heater has a rotor that is operably coupled to a drive shaft. The rotor is disposed in a heating chamber filled with viscous fluid. The rotor is rotated with the drive shaft to shear the viscous fluid and generate heat in the heating chamber. The rotor has a flat rotor body and a boss. The boss has an axial length greater than that of the rotor body. A mechanism is provided with at least the boss. The mechanism mounts the rotor on the drive shaft and transmits torque of the drive shaft to the rotor.

摘要: A viscous fluid type heating apparatus capable of achieving both reliable prevention of deterioration in the heat-generating performance of a viscous fluid and reliable prevention of leakage of the viscous fluid from the apparatus, and having a heat generating chamber provided with a first and a second storing region for storing a silicone oil to avoid an application of a shearing action from a rotor element to the viscous fluid and a heat generating gap. The silicone oil is held in the heat generating chamber so that it is able to flow between the heat generating gap and the first storing region which is directly affected by a thermal condition in the heat generating gap. The second storing region is substantially separated from the first storing region and is not directly affected by the thermal condition in the heat generating gap. The flow of the silicone oil between the first and second storing regions is adjustable by a movable element.

摘要: A variable heat generating viscous fluid type heat generator having a housing assembly including movable and fixed plate members arranged to define an axially bounded region in which a heat generating chamber is formed to have an axial width which is changed by the axial movement of the movable plate member with respect to the fixed plate member within the housing assembly by the controlled operation of the moving unit. The change in the axial width of the heat generating chamber causes a change in the gap size of a fluid filled gap between the outer face of the rotor element and the inner wall surface of the heat generating chamber and, accordingly, the heat generating performance of the viscous fluid type heat generator is adjustably varied.
