A process for preparing benzoxazine-thiol polymer film is described comprising forming a rolling bank of a curable composition comprising a polybenzoxazine and a polythiol, wherein the rolling bank contacts first and second carrier substrates; passing the first and second substrates with the curable composition therebetween through a nip; and at least partially curing the curable composition to provide the corresponding polymeric layer. The compositions are useful in coating, sealants, adhesive and many other applications.

A process and tool for the application of wax onto watersport boards including, but not limited to, surfboards, longboards, foam top boards, skim boards, standup paddle boards, boogie boards, wake skateboards, and wake surfboards. The process includes shredding wax with the use of a handheld grating device having a cutting blade with grating holes. The process further includes distributing the grated wax fragments onto the surface of the watersport board while continuing to rub the wax over the cutting blade of the grating device and layering the grated wax fragments over areas of the board surface where grip is needed, and then gently pressing the wax fragments onto the surface of the board to create a texture for ideal grip and traction needed to stand on and control the watersport board. One or more scraper edges on the grating device allow for removal of the wax from the board surface.

The present invention relates to the use of surface-modified nanoparticles to alter the morphology and microstructure of polymer blends. The addition of surface modified nanoparticles to polymer blends comprised of immiscible polymers facilitates the uniform distribution of the dispersed phase of the polymer blend. In an embodiment, the present invention relates to a polymer blend comprising (1) a continuous phase comprising at least one polymer, monomer or oligomer, and a plurality of surface-modified nanoparticles, having a particle diameter of less than about 100 nanometers, distributed in the continuous polymer phase; and (2) a dispersed phase comprising at least one polymer, monomer or oligomer, wherein the continuous polymer phase and the dispersed polymer phase are immiscible.
