摘要: An imaging system (1) comprises a transmitter (3, 6), a receiver (3, 4, 6), an antenna array (2); and a controller (4, 5, 10, 11) for directing the transmitter, the receiver, and the antenna array to scan a volume containing an object. The controller has multiple distributed processors (15) to calculate antenna control pattern data during run-time. The processor (4, 5) assesses misalignment of antennae using a receiver placed in the imaging volume, and monitors level of energy received by the receiver and compares it with a reference energy level. Also, the controller performs on-the-fly modification of antenna control pattern data according to real time conditions such as mechanical misalignment of the transmitter, the receiver, or of one or more antennas. The controller may generate three-dimensional offset vectors to provide a profile of the offset across the scan volume, and the position of an antenna may be moved to compensate for the mechanical misalignment.

摘要: A clock signal generating arrangement for a communication device generates a system clock signal at an output for use as a timing reference. The clock signal generating arrangement comprises a reference clock generator for generating a reference clock signal, a main clock generator for generating a main clock signal having a greater accuracy than the reference clock signal, a clock adjust circuit coupled to the reference clock generator for generating a compensated reference clock signal to compensate for error in the reference clock signal and a clock signal selector coupled to the reference clock generator the main clock generator and the clock adjust circuit. The clock signal selector selectively provides to the output of the clock signal generating arrangement as the system clock signal the compensated reference clock signal when an error in the reference clock signal reaches a first predetermined threshold and until the error in the reference clock signal has been compensated and otherwise the reference clock signal when the communication device is operating in an idle mode or the main clock signal when the communication device is operating in an active mode.

摘要: A master radiofrequency integrated circuit (RF IC) and a slave radiofrequency integrated circuit include a master radiofrequency module and a slave radiofrequency module, respectively. Both RF ICs include a radiofrequency side contact connectable to an antenna, for receiving radiofrequency signals, via the antenna, from a wireless communications network and a baseband side contact connected to the radiofrequency module and connectable to a contact of a baseband integrated circuit, for transmitting the baseband signals from the master radiofrequency module to the baseband integrated circuit. The RF module is connected to the radiofrequency side contact, for converting the radiofrequency signals into baseband signals. The master radiofrequency module includes a slave control unit for controlling the slave radiofrequency module. The master RF IC has a slave side contact connected to the slave control unit and to the slave RF IC, for transferring a control signal or data from and/or to slave radiofrequency module when the slave radiofrequency module is connected to the contact of the baseband integrated circuit. The slave RF IC includes a master side contact connected to a control interface of the slave RF module and connectable to a master radiofrequency module on another RF IC, for receiving the control signals from the master radiofrequency module.

摘要: An oral solid compress composition comprising a magnesium salt is provided. The composition provides a rapid dissolution of the magnesium salt, wherein not less than 75% of the magnesium salt dissolves within 45 minutes after placement in hydrochloric acid (0.1 N, 900 mL) as per USP Method . In a particular embodiment, the magnesium salt is an inorganic salt such as MgO, Mg(OH)2, MgCl2, and others. The composition can be prepared by dry granulation, direct compression or another suitable process. The composition provides a substantially stable dissolution profile for the magnesium salt so that the dissolution profile changes only minimally even after an extended period of storage under pharmaceutically acceptable conditions when packaged in a sealed container-enclosure system. The solid composition may also exclude a cellulose-based composition. The compressed composition can be prepared and stored under anhydrous conditions.
