摘要: A control system for a refrigerant cooled variable frequency drive (VFD) for a chiller includes a controller which controls an electronic expansion valve to attempt to maintain a heat sink for the variable frequency drive within its design operating range. When the controller is unable to maintain the heat sink within its design operating range, a load on the chiller is reduced, either by reducing the frequency of the variable frequency drive, or if the chiller includes a compressor with internal guide vanes, by partially closing the guide vanes. The power rating of the VFD can thus be optimized based on its heat generating components operating at a controlled condition, unlike an air-cooled device which is dependent on the ambient environment.

摘要: X-ray image data of an examination subject is acquired for an acquisition period by an X-ray detector of an X-ray system simultaneously with a decay process of a radioactive material taking place in or on the examination subject. The X-ray image data includes information relating to an X-ray attenuation distribution of the examination subject and information relating to the decay process. Correction image data representing the information relating to the decay process in the X-ray image data for the acquisition period is determined. Corrected X-ray image data for the acquisition period is generated using the X-ray image data and the correction image data.

摘要: A method for processing an X-ray image of an object under examination taken with an X-ray detector with a plurality of pixel sensors is provided to remove bright-burn artifacts. At least one substantially artifact-free offset image of the X-ray detector without the application of X-rays is provided. At least one dark image with the X-ray detector without the application of X-rays is recorded. The at least one dark image is corrected by the at least one artifact-free offset image for determining at least one offset-corrected first correction image with afterglow artifacts. At least one second correction image for correcting bright-burn artifacts from the first correction image with afterglow artifacts is calculated using a, in particular predetermined, correlation between afterglow artifacts and bright-burn artifacts. At least one X-ray image of an object under examination is recorded with the X-ray detector, and the at least one X-ray image is corrected with the at least one second correction image to remove bright-burn artifacts.

摘要: A shield for an electronic cartridge which has a pin that attaches a thermal element to a substrate. One edge of the substrate may have a plurality of conductive pads. The shield may have a base located adjacent to the conductive pads. The shield may include an arm which extends from the base and a finger which extends from the arm. The shield can be installed by sliding the arm toward the thermal element so that the pin engages and deflects the finger. The shield is moved toward the thermal element until the pin snaps into a notch located at the end of the finger. The finger may exert a spring force which pushes the base into the thermal element and secures the shield to the cartridge.
