    摘要: A light-emitting device (100), comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes (107) arranged spaced apart from each other on a substrate (108), is provided. The device further comprises a light guide plate (101) having a front surface (102) and an opposing back surface (103) that is provided with an array of protrusions (104) extending towards said substrate. The light guide plate is arranged such that light-emitting diodes emits light towards light receiving faces (105) of the protrusions (104). Further, collimators (110) are arranged between the light emitting diodes and the light receiving faces, to collimate the light before it enters the light guide plate.The light from the plurality of LEDs will be transmitted in to the light guide plate and will be distributed therein before exiting the light guide plate via the front side thereof. Thus, the present invention provides a light-emitting device that provides well-distributed and collimated light from a plurality of point light sources.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a display device comprising an outer display stacked with an inner display and being arranged to be operable in a first, multiple view mode and a second, single view mode. An idea of the invention is to arrange an electrophoretic display on top of an emissive display. The display device may be operated in two modes; a first mode being a multiple or dual view mode and a second mode being a single view mode. In order to activate the single view mode, the outer display is set in a transparent state and the inner display is turned on, such that it displays desired objects. In the multiple view mode, the outer display is functioning as a 3D-barrier. Hence, some of the picture elements of the outer display are set in a transparent state while others are set in an opaque state. The viewer sees a different picture with each respective eye, and will accordingly experience a multiple view picture of an object that is displayed on the inner display.

    摘要: The invention relates to an X-ray apparatus which includes an adjustable X-ray filter. In order to adjust an intensity profile of the X-ray beam, an X-ray absorbing liquid is transported to filter elements of the X-ray filter. Such transport is susceptible to gravitational forces which lead to an irregular hydrostatic pressure distribution in the X-ray filter. In order to reduce the effects of the gravitational forces on the transport of the X-ray absorbing liquid, the duct connecting the filter elements to the reservoir is subdivided into sub-ducts and the reservoir is subdivided into chambers, each chamber being connected to at least one sub-duct. The X-ray apparatus also includes means for keeping the sub-ducts aligned with a horizontal plane.
