    摘要: A standard pattern vector of a normal sound, an input pattern vector of a monitored sound, a positive vector of a reference pattern, and a negative vector of the reference pattern are produced. Regarding each element, the positive vector is increased by an absolute value of a difference between the input pattern vector and the standard pattern vector if the input pattern vector is greater than the standard pattern vector, and the negative vector is increased by the absolute value if the input pattern vector is less than the standard pattern vector. A difference of a kurtosis between the positive vector and the negative vector is calculated, wherein a center of the reference shape is relatively moved to a position of each element of the positive and negative vectors respectively at every calculation. A geometric distance value between the standard pattern vector and the input pattern vector is obtained by calculating a square root of a sum of a square of each kurtosis difference.

    摘要: A slidable throttle valve assembly for a carburetor comprising a carburetor body with an intake passage therein, a slidable throttle valve movable across the intake passage, and a throttle valve guide tube connected to the carburetor body and guidably supporting the slidable throttle valve. The carburetor body has guide grooves for guiding the slidable throttle valve which are respectively provided in the body at opposite sides of the intake passage so as to be continuous with the throttle valve guide tube. The throttle valve and guide grooves are of part-circular, cross-sectional shape so that the throttle valve and guide grooves come into contact with each other respectively along lines extending in the sliding direction of the slidable throttle valve downstream of the intake passage.

    摘要: A lead acid storage battery has a cell composed of a positive plate comprising a positive active material layer and a positive current collector plate, a negative plate comprising a negative active material layer and a negative current collector plate, a separator and a frame-shaped gasket. In the cell, the positive plate and the negative plate are laminated with the gasket put between them. The gasket is in contact with peripheral edges of the positive current collector plate and the negative current collector plate. The positive active material layer and the negative active material layer are located in a cell space surrounded by both of the plates and the gasket with the separator put between them.

    摘要: A very small sized and highly efficient RF ground breaker for use in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is constructed on a printed circuit board. A variable capacitor is used to tune the ground breaker to block the desired radio frequency signals from passing along the outside of a coaxial cable conductor. Preferably, the printed circuit board is double-sided with the ground breaker components being mounted on both sides and with RF conductors being mounted within recesses and serving to interconnect printed circuit traces from one side of the circuit board with those on the other side. In a double ground breaker version, undesirable coupling between proximate RF ground breaker components associated with separate channels are purposely intercoupled by capacitance designed to substantially cancel unwanted inter-channel coupling effects.
