    摘要: The front and rear surfaces of plates to be butt-welded are slidably held by front and rear backing shoes, respectively, for defining a welding space in a narrow groove formed by the edges of the plates, and the edges are melted by a plasma arc generating torch, while a plurality of consumable electrodes are fed into the welding space are molten by arcs generated therebetween. The backing shoes, the torch, and the consumable electrodes are moved along the groove to obtain a butt-weld of high quality at high efficiency. In addition, the electrode of the torch has an elongated configuration in section at its end portion, and its restraining nozzle surrounding the electrode has a nozzle opening which also has an elongated configuration in correspondence to the end portion of the electrode. The longitudinal axes of these configurations are aligned with each other to effectively utilize the energy of a plasma arc generated by the torch.

    摘要: An encoder made of rubber material in which the S-poles and the N-poles are alternately magnetized in circumference, whose magnetic force is strong and whose variation of the magnetic force is slight in the circumferential direction when it is magnetized. And a manufacturing method thereof. A ring shaped rubber compound made of unvulcanized rubber material into which magnetic powders are mixed and having thickness t1 of 1.5 times to 5 times thicker than the thickness t of the encoder made of rubber material as the final product is vulcanizingly molded. In this vulcanizingly molding process, the thickness of ring shaped rubber compound is reduced to one fifth (⅕) to two thirds (⅔) by compressing the ring shaped rubber compound in the axial direction under high temperature. And then, vulcanizingly molded one is magnetized S-poles and N-poles alternately in circumference.

    摘要: The invention provides a method of manufacturing a cylindrical encoder, molded from rubber material, containing ferromagnetic powders mixed therein, using a pair of metal molds comprising an upper metal mold and a lower metal mold. The lower metal mold has a cylindrical cavity which is provided with a pot portion at an inlet side thereof, a rectification receiving portion at an outlet side thereof opposing to the inlet side, and a rectification portion between the pot portion and the rectification receiving portion at the inside of the pot portion. An annular shaped rubber material using the rubber material is formed, and mounted on the pot portion of the lower metal mold. The annular shaped rubber material is compressed on to the lower metal mold by using the upper metal mold with the applied heating, thereby charged into the cylindrical cavity.

    摘要: A stabilizer or dispersing agent for use in a suspension polymerization of a vinyl compound is provided which comprises a modified and partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol having an average polymerization degree of from 200 to 3,000 and an average hydrolysis degree of from 60 to 90 mol % and including anion hydrophilic groups at the side chains thereof, wherein said anion hydrophilic groups are selected from the group consisting of dicarboxyl groups and/or esters thereof and/or salts thereof, sulfuric esters and/or salts thereof and phosphoric esters and/or salts thereof, and the content of said anion hydrophilic groups is in the range of from 0.02 to 10 mol % per unit mol of the polyvinyl alcohol. A process for preparing a polymer of a vinyl compound is also provided wherein said vinyl compound is polymerized in a suspension thereof suspended by the use of the stabilizer or dispersing agent.
