摘要： Doors are made to open and close from a center of an opening of an accommodation box in such a manner as a double-leafed hinged door does via an interlocking mechanism (link mechanisms) which converts a sliding movement in a direction which is substantially normal to a plane including an opening into rotational movements of the doors around corresponding rotational axes which are set individually on left- and right-hand sides of the opening, and when they are in an open position where the opening is opened completely, the doors are stored compact to lie along left and right lateral sides of the accommodation box.

摘要： A compartment temperature adjustment switch 12 is provided for successively switching a target temperature of a compartment air conditioner through pushing operation of a push button 12a. The switch 12 includes the push button 12a, a substrate 22 fixed to the push button 12a, and light emitting elements 23 mounted on the substrate 22. The segments are selectively illuminated when the light emitting elements 23 are turned on, and a target temperature is numerically displayed on the push button 12a by a combination of illuminated ones of the segments. An information display portion is integrally formed with the push button 12a.

摘要： Vertical louvers are swingably supported at a duct outlet of a vehicle air conditioner. Two left and right shape-memory alloy (SMA) wires are coupled to a swing shaft of one of the vertical louvers. When electrically heated, the SMA wires contract, and the swing shaft is rotated, accordingly. The SMA wires are alternately supplied with electricity, so that the vertical louvers are swung leftward and rightward.

摘要： An automobile airbag door is formed by a door base member, a door cover member, and a tear line. The door base member and the door cover member form a part of a base member and a part of a cover member of an instrument panel, respectively. When pressed by an airbag being deployed and inflated, the door base member is torn from the tear line. The first zone is defined as the bonded part between the outer surface of the door base member and the door cover member which extends along the tear line and includes a part on which the tear line is projected. The second zones are on both sides of the first zone and extend along the tear line. The automobile airbag door has a mechanism that makes the bond strength in the first zone weaker than the bond strength in each second zone.
