摘要: A coolant flow channel is formed so as to pass axially through a rotor core radially inside magnet housing apertures, a linking flow channel is formed so as to have a flow channel width that is narrower than a maximum flow channel width of the coolant flow channel, so as to link the coolant flow channel and the magnet housing apertures, and so as to pass axially through the rotor core, and permanent magnets are fixed to an inner wall surface of the magnet housing apertures by an adhesive that is disposed only between a wall surface of the permanent magnets that is positioned on a radially outer side and the inner wall surface of the magnet housing apertures so as to expose a region of a wall surface of the permanent magnets that is positioned on a radially inner side that faces the linking flow channel.

摘要: A rotary electric machine includes: an annular cooling oil channel that is configured inside an externally mounted frame so as to face axially toward coils that are arranged in an annular shape and such that a surface that faces the coils is made into an opening; an oil pump; a nozzle that sprays cooling oil that is conveyed under pressure from the oil pump into the cooling oil channel from above; and a plurality of oil flow direction changing projections that are respectively disposed inside the cooling oil channel and are arranged circumferentially so as to face gaps between the coils and such that cooling oil receiving surfaces face upstream in a direction of flow of the cooling oil so as to change the cooling oil that flows through the cooling oil channel to an axial flow so as to be supplied to the gaps between the coils.

摘要: Provided is an electric motor having improved overall cooling efficiency by enabling a coolant to flow around a stator and around and through a rotor in parallel for the stator and the rotor to allow the stator and the rotor to be cooled in parallel. In the electric motor, after an automatic transmission fluid flowing into a first coolant inflow port (10) passes through a shaft internal flow path and rotor internal flow paths (27), the automatic transmission fluid passes through a coolant exhaust port (20) to flow out of a housing (18). After the automatic transmission fluid flowing into a second coolant inflow port (11) passes through a clearance (31) between the housing (18) and a stator (17) and around coil ends (29) of stator coils (16), the automatic transmission fluid passes through the coolant exhaust port (20) to flow out of the housing (18).

摘要: Ventilation apertures are respectively formed circumferentially so as to pass axially through an inner circumferential side of a rotor core, rotor grooves are respectively formed circumferentially on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor core so as to have groove directions in an axial direction, and a centrifugal fan is fixed to the shaft at an end of the rotor core near the front frame, and a cyclic path is formed in which, during operation of the centrifugal fan, cooling air flows into the ventilation apertures from near a rear frame, passes through the ventilation apertures and flows out near the front frame, flows radially outward near the front frame and flows into the rotor grooves, passes through the rotor grooves and flows out near the rear frame, and flows radially inward near the rear frame and flows into the ventilation apertures.
