    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display that give a wide viewing angle. The present invention includes a first substrate, a second electrode opposed to the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The second substrate includes a third electrode. The liquid crystal layer is driven by an electric field generated at least by the first electrode, the second electrode, and the third electrode. The liquid crystal panel includes within a pixel a plurality of regions that are supplied with different voltages to drive the liquid crystal layer.

Thus, it is possible to provide a liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display apparatus having a wide viewing angle with less color change with a simple configuration.

    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display device which have a high response speed. The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display panel including a first substrate and a second substrate disposed to face each other, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal molecule having positive dielectric anisotropy; the liquid crystal molecule is aligned perpendicularly to a surface of the first substrate when no voltage is applied; the first substrate includes a signal line, a scanning line, a first electrode to which an image signal is provided through the signal line, and a second electrode; the first electrode includes a first comb-tooth portion; the second electrode includes a second comb-tooth portion; the first comb-tooth portion and the second comb-tooth portion are disposed in the same layer to planarly face each other in a pixel; the second substrate includes a third electrode and a dielectric layer disposed on the liquid crystal layer side of the third electrode, the third electrode covering at least a display region; and the slowest rise response speed is not more than twice a rise response speed upon application of a maximum gradation voltage to the display panel to which no voltage has been applied.

    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device capable of preventing occurrence of flickers. The liquid crystal display device including a first substrate and a second substrate disposed to face each other, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal molecule having positive dielectric anisotropy; the liquid crystal molecule is perpendicularly aligned relative to a surface of the first substrate when no voltage is applied; the first substrate includes a pixel electrode to which an image signal is supplied, a common electrode to which a common signal is supplied, an insulating film, and a lower layer wiring connected to the pixel electrode; the lower layer wiring, the insulating film, and the common electrode are stacked in the stated order towards the liquid crystal layer side; the image signal is supplied to the pixel electrode through the lower wiring; the pixel electrode has a pixel comb-tooth portion; the common electrode has a common comb-tooth portion; the pixel comb-tooth portion and the common comb-tooth portion are planarly disposed to face each other in a pixel; the liquid crystal device has at least two regions having spacings of different lengths between the pixel electrode and the common electrode from each other in the pixel; the lower layer wiring overlaps the common comb-tooth portion and extends along the common comb-tooth portion; and a width of a part of the lower layer wiring which is overlapped with the common comb-tooth portion is substantially the same as or smaller than a width of a part of the common comb-tooth portion which is overlapped with the lower layer wiring.

    摘要: The starter-use electromagnetic switch has an electrical contact interposed in a power supply line for supplying power from a battery to a starter motor, the main contact being turned on and off in interlock with energization of an electromagnet implemented by an excitation coil. The electromagnetic switch includes a connection fitting connected to the excitation coil at one end thereof and drawn outside through a resin cover of the electromagnetic switch at the other end thereof, and a terminal fitting electrically and mechanically connected to the other end of the connection fitting at one end thereof, the other end of the terminal fitting being branched into first and second terminal pieces. The first terminal piece serves as an excitation terminal supplied with power from the battery. The second terminal piece serves as a connection terminal connected to an excitation terminal of an external electromagnetic switch through a cable.
