    摘要: Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive film suitable for an application involving cutting with a short-wavelength laser having a center wavelength of 1.0 μm to 1.1 μm. A pressure-sensitive adhesive film 1 according to the present invention comprises a resin film 10 as a substrate, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 20 provided at least on a first face of resin film 10. Substrate 10 has a laser beam absorbance of 20% or higher in a wavelength range of 1000 nm to 1100 nm, and comprises a laser beam-absorbing layer 42 formed from a resin composition that comprises a carbon black 402 as a laser beam-absorbing agent that increases the laser beam absorbance.

    摘要: In a lighting unit, fluorescent lights and LEDs of different spectroscopic characteristics are alternately arranged in a direction X on an irradiation plane. Light sources of equal light intensity are arranged in a certain pitch for the fluorescent lights such that a uniform light amount is achieved around end portions in the direction X. The LEDs include LEDs aligned on a bottom surface of a chassis and LEDs arranged on an inner sidewall surface of the chassis. As a result, a lighting unit having a uniform amount of light across an entire irradiation plane is achieved.

    摘要: An objective of one embodiment of the present invention is to perform infrared communications without error by reducing abrupt noise included in a data signal when a light source of a display device is driven by PWM drive. When a control portion is provided with a drive setting signal for determining whether to drive lamps of a liquid crystal television by pulse width modulation drive or by continuous drive, the control portion sets a threshold in a register for a frequency filter portion based on the provided drive setting signal. Furthermore, upon reception of infrared light from the lamps, the threshold being set is reviewed based on an occurrence frequency for abrupt noise provided by a waveform analysis portion. Thereafter, abrupt noise included in a data signal transmitted from a cell phone is reduced by the frequency filter portion, and then the data signal is transmitted to the liquid crystal television.

The cold cathode tube lamp comprises discharge tubes (1, 40) having a pair of electrodes (12, 13, 42, 43) and being driven when a voltage having an AC component is supplied thereto, and ballast capacitors (2, 3, 50, 60) connected with at least one of the pair of electrodes. The ballast capacitor is arranged to come into thermal contact with the discharge tube and to increase the capacitance as the surface temperature of the ballast capacitor decreases.

    摘要: A lighting unit and a liquid crystal display device which can improve the efficiency of usable light. The lighting unit includes a light source, a light guide plate, and a truncated pyramid located between the light guide plate and the light source. The truncated pyramid has a base, a top smaller than the base, and a slope linking the base and the top. The light source is placed in close contact with the top of the truncated pyramid, and the light guide plate is placed in close contact with the base of the truncated pyramid. Light is propagated from a light emitting part of the light source to the light guide plate without passing through any air layer. Also, an unnecessary light removing structure is provided in the light guide plate near the incidence surface thereof.
