摘要： This invention is a method for preparing an automotive catalyst system. It comprises the steps of providing a substrate, providing a gamma-alumina support material, depositing a lanthana precursor and calcining the precursor, depositing an oxygen storage material precursor like ceria precursor and calcining this precursor material, and subsequently depositing catalytic material like platinum on the oxygen storage material. The alumina may be initially washcoated on the substrate or at any stage after deposition of the lanthana precursor.

摘要： A method and apparatus for controlling the dust produced by continuous underground coal mining machinery. The apparatus comprises a wet scrubber mounted on the pivoted boom adjacent the cutting head and discharges the cleaned air into the air curtain flow. 摘要： The present invention relates to an improvement in a fountain pen in which the fountain pen is provided with a writing point feed bar and a casing for supporting the writing mechanism, there being a partition located adjacent to the feed bar and having a cylindrical boss extending away therefrom. The cartridge is provided with a double lip interior open end which is adapted to fit over the boss and conduct the ink into the bore that extends through the boss that communicates with the feed bar. The tapered nose end of the cartridge snugly fits into the bore of the casing adjacent the boss that communicates with the feed bar. This not only insures that the lip sealing is forced radially inward and is not disturbed, by also insures that the end of the cartridge engages the partition wall for sealing and the interior wall of the casing for additional sealing.

摘要： An air scrubbing system for removing dust produced by longwall shearers from the operator's work area. The system uses a plurality of small scrubbing units mounted on the shearer. Each of the scrubbing units utilizes a series of twin fluid atomizers located at the inlet of the unit to produce a fine water mist for capturing the respirable dust. The scrubbing units return the dust-laden mist to the coal face.
