摘要： In the present pretensioner, press contact portions are formed further to a side of an open end of a packing housing section than central portions of opposing faces along a depth direction of the packing housing section. Accordingly, when a packing is being fitted into the packing housing section, no great resistance is imparted to a curved face side of the packing from a press contact wall of a housing section body and the opposing face, and the packing is fitted comparatively smoothly therein. Consequently, even when fitting the packing into the packing housing section, a packing main body is largely resilient-deformed, such that a large collapse in a through hole can be prevented, and the sealing ability of the seal due to deformation of the packing main body can be effectively enhanced.

摘要： A pretensioner comprising a gas generating unit; a pretensioner body to whose inside the gas is supplied; a spool driving member disposed inside the pretensioner body and causing a spool to rotate to retract webbing onto the spool; a gas flow rate adjusting portion disposed in the spool driving member and whose inner peripheral shape is set in accordance with a flow rate of the gas to be passed through the gas flow rate adjusting portion; and a filter unit having a vent portion that is communicated with a space between the gas generating unit and the spool driving member and is also communicated with the gas flow rate adjusting portion. The open shape of the gas flow rate adjusting portion has a portion that does not coincide in a plan view with the open shape of the vent portion, and the overall open area of the vent portion is set larger than the open area of the gas flow rate adjusting portion.

摘要： An inexpensive webbing retractor is obtained by making a pretensioner and a lock device small and reducing the number of parts. A plurality of protrusions are formed on an inner peripheral portion of the bearing body, which pivotally supports a clutch portion. These protrusions are brought into linear contact with an outer peripheral portion of the clutch portion, whereby the bearing body pivotally supports the clutch portion indirectly via the protrusions. Since the protrusions are brought into linear contact with the clutch portion, the contact area becomes quite small. Hence, the protrusions are easily plastically deformed due to friction resistance with the clutch portion. Therefore, resistance that obstructs the rotation of the clutch portion becomes small, and gas pressure can be efficiently supplied for the rotation of a take-up shaft. Also disclosed is a locking device comprising a lock base attached to the winding spool, a lock plate for engagement with ratchet teeth of a frame, and a lock cover which comprises a hook portion with which the lock base is engaged, and an outer peripheral flange portion overlapping the frame.

When assembled, due to a positional relationship which is such that insert-in portions are formed between a tubular portion of a lock base and a spool shaft, grooves are formed at the tubular portion and a portion of the spool shaft. An elastically deformable terminal end portion is formed at a stopper which is press-fit into an insert-in hole. In a state in which the stopper also is installed, not only press-in load in a thrusting direction, but also press-in load in a radial direction is applied between the lock base and a spool such that a structure is fixed.

摘要： The present invention discloses a cover mounting structure for a webbing retractor. This structure relates to a mounting structure of a cover mount and a cover which hold a power spring used for taking up a webbing. By inserting a claw of the cover into an engagement hole portion of the cover mount, a claw on a folded member in which the engagement hole portion is formed enters into a hole portion of the engagement portion, so that the engagement portion is anchored by the claw. That is, the cover can easily be fixed onto the cover mount. Moreover, the engagement portion has elasticity and is constantly urged in the direction of withdrawal by the restoring force, so that the cover does not generate strange sounds.

摘要： Disclosed is an automatic seatbelt apparatus which is capable of automatically applying, or canceling the application of, a webbing around an occupant of a vehicle, wherein a limit switch for detecting that a slider, which guides the webbing along a guide rail between a stopping position on the forward side and a stopping position on the rearward side of the vehicle, has arrived at the stopping position on the forward side of the vehicle is disposed in such a manner as not to hamper any further movement of the slider toward the front of the vehicle. Accordingly, the stopping position of the slider on the rearward side of the vehicle can be changed regardless of the stopping position at which the slider is located.
