    摘要： The end surface of the light guide plate has a flat surface and a protruding surface which protrudes with respect to the flat surface. Light traveling from the light source in a direction perpendicular to the flat surface enters the light guide plate in an expanded manner due to refraction at the protruding surface. The protruding surface has a shape in which cylindrical surfaces are integrated, the respective cylindrical surfaces being formed about central axes which are orthogonal to the front surface from which the light exits. A pair of cylindrical surfaces, which is positioned at both end portions of the protruding surface in an arraying direction of the cylindrical surfaces, is each adjacent to the flat surface. Adjacent cylindrical surfaces are connected to each other at a position shifted in a protruding direction of the protruding surface with respect to the flat surface.

Expansion rate control section 103 controls expansion rates so as to select the expansion rates that correspond to the detected direction from which the viewer views the display surface and expand the image or video using the selected expansion rates. Signal processing section 104, in accordance with the control performed by expansion rate control section 103, expands the image or video at the expansion rates selected by expansion rate control section 103. Display section 105 displays the expanded image or video.

    摘要： The present invention realizes streaming reproduction in an environment in which a communication speed changes due to a change in the position of a moving body such as a vehicle. A content reproduction device 10 includes: a plurality of communication units (a cellular phone 101 and a wireless LAN communication unit 104), each receiving a content transmitted in segments from a content transmission device over a communication path; a content reconstruction unit 113 that has a buffer 1130 in which each segmented data of the content received by each of the communication units is temporarily accumulated, and that reconstructs each segmented data accumulated in the buffer 1130 into the content; a reproduction unit 114 that reproduces, at a predetermined bit rate, the content reconstructed by the content reconstruction unit 113; and a communication control unit 110 that: calculates, for every predetermined time, target transmission speeds to be assigned for content reception performed by the respective communication units, based on free space in the buffer 1130 and the bit rate; and transmits a first request signal indicating the calculated target transmission speeds to the content transmission device via one of the communication units.
