    Abstract: An inverter unit, provided in a motor unit that rotates an axle of a vehicle, includes an inverter, and an inverter case that houses the inverter therein. The inverter case includes an inverter case body that opens to one side in a predetermined direction, and a plate-shaped cover that closes an opening of the inverter case body. The cover has a raised portion raised in the predetermined direction. The raised portion has a hollow curved shape protruding in the predetermined direction.

    Abstract: A drive apparatus includes a housing including a motor, a power transmission unit, a parking mechanism, and a gear accommodation portion. The parking mechanism includes a parking gear, a pawl, a transmission unit, and a sleeve. The transmission unit includes a cam rod and a cam attached to the cam rod to operate the pawl. The cam is guided by the sleeve. The gear accommodation portion has first and second housing members, a breather, and a dividing wall partitioning a space where the breather opens inside the gear accommodation portion. The second housing member is provided with a holding recess that opens to a first side in an axial direction and holds the sleeve. The first housing member is provided with a retaining wall that covers a surface facing a second side in the axial direction of the sleeve. The retaining wall is a part of the dividing wall.

    Abstract: A drive device includes a motor and an inverter. A motor axis is parallel to an output axis. The inverter is located in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction with respect to the motor axis and extends in a third direction orthogonal to the first and second directions. When viewed from the first direction, a virtual straight line passing through the axes extends in the third direction. An inverter housing portion overlaps the axes when viewed from the second direction, and has a boundary wall on the virtual straight line side in the second direction. In the second direction, a distance between the boundary wall and the output axis is smaller than a distance between the boundary wall and the motor axis. A motor side connection portion has a portion closer to the side opposite to the output axis than the motor axis in the third direction.

    Abstract: A housing of a drive device includes a tubular portion, a side plate portion, a plate portion, and a peripheral wall portion. The tubular portion extends in a first direction and accommodates a motor. The side plate portion has a plate shape intersecting the first direction, and is at one end portion of the tubular portion in the first direction. The plate portion expands from the tubular portion along one of the first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The peripheral wall portion surrounds an inverter accommodation portion that accommodates inverter when viewed from a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, and is connected to the plate portion. Each of a pump and an oil cooler is at any of one end portion of the peripheral wall portion in the second direction, another end portion of the plate portion in the third direction, and another end portion of the side plate portion in the first direction.

    Abstract: A gear portion of a drive device is connected to a motor shaft. An oil passage through which oil to cool a motor flows includes a first oil passage, a second oil passage, a third oil passage, and a fourth oil passage. The first oil passage connects a gear accommodation portion and a pump accommodation portion. The second oil passage connects the pump accommodation portion and an oil cooler. The third oil passage connects the oil cooler and the fourth oil passage. The fourth oil passage connects the third oil passage and a motor accommodation portion. Each of the first oil passage, the second oil passage, and the third oil passage is in a first housing portion. The fourth oil passage is in a third housing portion.
