    Abstract: A motor unit according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a motor having a rotor that rotates about a motor axis and a stator located radially outside the rotor; an inverter that controls a current to be supplied to the motor; a housing body having a motor housing portion that houses the motor and an inverter housing portion that houses the inverter; and an inverter housing configured to cover an opening of the inverter housing portion while supporting the inverter. The housing body is provided with a first cooling path through which a first refrigerant for cooling the motor flows. The inverter housing is provided with a second cooling path through which a second refrigerant for cooling the inverter flows.

    Abstract: A drive apparatus includes a motor, a transmission, an inverter, a housing accommodating the motor, transmission, inverter, and a fluid, a refrigerant for the inverter, a pump for the fluid, and a cooler that exchanges heat between the fluid and refrigerant. The housing includes first-third portions accommodating the motor, transmission and inverter, respectively, and a support portion. The second portion is on one side of the first portion in an axial direction. The support portion is radially outside in a circumferential direction, and is connected to an outer peripheral portion of the first portion and a bottom portion of the third portion. The support portion supports the pump and the cooler. Any one of the pump and the cooler is disposed on one side in the circumferential direction with respect to the support portion, and the other is disposed radially outside with respect to the support portion.

    Abstract: A drive device includes a motor and an inverter. A motor axis is parallel to an output axis. The inverter is located in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction with respect to the motor axis and extends in a third direction orthogonal to the first and second directions. When viewed from the first direction, a virtual straight line passing through the axes extends in the third direction. An inverter housing portion overlaps the axes when viewed from the second direction, and has a boundary wall on the virtual straight line side in the second direction.
