    Abstract: A medical connector according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a valve body which has a slit formed therein; a cylindrical outer housing which houses the valve body in the cylindrical shape thereof and retains the valve body therein; and a cylindrical inner housing which is inserted into the cylindrical shape of the outer housing so as to support an under surface of the valve body. A joint is formed between the valve body and the outer housing. The joint is positioned radially outward of the connector beyond the upper edge of the inner housing.

    Abstract: A medical valve which is able to more reliably support an outer peripheral part of an elastic valve body with respect to a housing, and prevent a problem of the elastic valve body becoming dislodged inward. A medical valve includes an elastic valve body with annular grooves formed thereon and a tubular support part formed at an outer peripheral side of an annular joining part positioned between the annular grooves. Inside and outside holding parts engage the annular grooves provided to the valve inside and outside surfaces of the annular joining part. The outside holding part and inside holding part are provided to an opening member, and with the tubular support part, a part projecting inward in an axial direction is sandwiched and supported between the inside holding part and outside holding part.

    Abstract: An indwelling catheter including: a hollow catheter base having a tip and a back end, the back end being able to receive and connect a male connector; a tube provided at the tip of the catheter base; a flexible hemostasis valve installed inside the catheter base; a pusher installed at a back of the hemostasis valve; and a pusher guide installed between the pusher and the catheter base, The pusher has a hollow constitution whose taper reduces in diameter facing its tip. The pusher guide is able to restrict a position of the pusher at a first position where the pusher does not push open the hemostasis valve and a second position where the taper of the pusher is positioned inside the hemostasis valve and pushes open the hemostasis valve.

    Abstract: A valved needle assembly including a needle hub provided to a proximal end side of a hollow needle, and a valve member incorporated therein for blocking communication with the hollow needle. A protrusion protrudes from a distal end side toward a proximal end side inside the needle hub and the valve member blocks the proximal end side of the protrusion inside the needle hub. A central valve part of the valve member having a slit moves toward the protrusion such that the slit is opened and placed in communication by the protrusion. The central valve part includes a distal end tubular part and a proximal end tubular part extending from its outer circumferential portion toward the distal end side and the proximal end side respectively.
