These materials are useful in the treatment of various autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, cutaneous lupus, discoid lupus, mixed connective tissue disease, primary biliary cirrhosis, immune thrombocytopenia purpura, hidradenitis suppurativa, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, Sjögren's syndrome, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis.
