Abstract:
In scheduling transmission of UL data in a plurality of subframes using single DCI, asynchronous re-transmission control of this UL data is appropriately performed. A user terminal according to an aspect of the present invention includes a receiving section that receives downlink control information (DCI) and a control section that controls transmission of an uplink shared channel in each of a plurality of subframes based on the DCI. The control section determines an HARQ process number (HPN) to use in each of the plurality of subframes based on a HPN field included in the DCI.

To perform listening for uplink transmission at an appropriate timing, on a carrier with setting of listening. A user terminal according to an aspect of the present invention has a transmission section that transmits a signal on a carrier where a listening is performed prior to uplink transmission, a reception section that receives timing information, and a control section that controls execution timing of the listening, on the basis of the timing information.
Abstract:
In one aspect, the adaptive modulation and coding method includes, in a user terminal, receiving a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index, acquiring a modulation order corresponding to the received MCS index as a modulation order of a downlink shared channel, from a first table in which MCS indexes are associated with modulation orders including 8 and transport block size (TBS) indexes, and a second table is provided in which MCS indexes are associated with modulation orders of less than 8 and TBS indexes, and the first table is provided by puncturing a combination of a modulation order and a TBS index in the second table so that the first table and the second table are equal in a number of bits for an MCS index. In other aspects, a user terminal and a radio base station are provided.
Abstract:
The present invention is designed to make possible adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) that supports high-order modulation schemes. The adaptive modulation and coding method of the present invention is an adaptive modulation and coding method for a downlink shared channel, and includes, in a user terminal, the steps of measuring channel quality based on a reference signal from the radio base station, acquiring a channel quality indicator to indicate the modulation scheme and the coding rate that are applicable to the downlink shared channel in the channel quality, from a table in which channel quality indicators, modulation schemes and coding rates are associated with each other, and transmitting the channel quality indicator to the radio base station, and the modulation schemes include a modulation scheme of a higher order than 64 QAM.

The present invention is designed to prevent the decrease of throughput and also reduce the overhead of CSI feedback when CoMP transmission is applied. A radio base station is configured to be able to perform coordinated multiple-point transmission/reception with a user terminal, and includes a detection section configured to detect a retransmission control signal fed back from the user terminal, and a CQI updating section configured to update a CQI for coordinated multiple-point transmission/reception using received quality information in each cell, and the CQI updating section updates the CQI using a calculating formula that is defined with the received quality information in each cell and a variable which changes the value depending on the content of the retransmission control signal.

Abstract:
The present invention is designed to reduce the decrease of system performance when coordinated multi-point transmission is carried out to a user terminal. The central control station of the present invention provides a central control station that is connected with a plurality of radio base stations that carry out coordinated multi-point transmission to a user terminal, and this central control station has a reporting information generating section that generates, for each radio base station, information about radio resources allocated to other radio base stations that carry out coordinated multi-point transmission, and a reporting section that reports the information about the radio resources, generated in the reporting information generating section, to each radio base station.
Abstract:
Techniques for providing codebooks extended by gain information that can be transmitted in a reduced amount of signaling are disclosed. A user equipment includes a transmission and reception unit communicating a radio signal with a base station in accordance with MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) transmission and a codebook storage unit stores predefined codebooks to specify precoding matrices for use in the MIMO transmission. The codebooks are arranged to represent phase information and gain information and a channel measurement unit measures channel conditions based on reference signals transmitted from multiple antennas in the base station. A codebook selection unit selects a codebook to be indicated to the base station from the stored codebooks based on the measured channel conditions and instructs the transmission and reception unit to indicate feedback information to the base station and the feedback information includes a codebook index for identifying the selected codebook.
