Abstract:
The invention relates to an assembly of a porous metallic gas diffusion substrate and a polymeric separator membrane for use in an alkaline electrolyser or alkaline fuel cell. The polymeric separator membrane of the assembly comprises inorganic hydrophilic particulates dispersed in an organic polymeric binder. The polymeric separator membrane is gas tight when filled with electrolyte. The polymeric separator membrane is penetrating into at least a top portion of the porous metallic gas diffusion substrate. Also disclosed is a method to produce such an assembly via coating a paste on a porous metallic gas diffusion substrate.
Abstract:
The invention describes a tank comprising a solution, dispersion or emulsion for selective catalytic reduction in combustion engines. The tank comprises an electrical resistive heating element immersed in the tank. The electrical resistive heating element comprises at least one heating cord. The heating cord comprises metal filaments. The metal filaments • comprise a copper layer or a layer in a copper alloy, and comprise a surrounding layer in stainless steel, • or comprise a steel layer, surrounded by a layer in copper or in a copper alloy, surrounded by a nickel, zinc or tin layer or a layer of alloys comprising such metals; • or comprise a layer of low carbon or high carbon steel, and comprise a surrounding nickel, zinc or tin layer or layer of alloys comprising such metals, and the heating cord comprises a polymer coating layer.
Abstract:
A filter membrane has at its flow in side a first metal fiber web, at least two metal fiber layers, and a fine and at least one coarser fiber layer. The fine fiber layer is located at the flow in side of the filter membrane and the at least one coarser fiber layer is located downstream of the fine fiber layer. The filter membrane has at its flow out side, a stack of one or more first two-dimensional metal structures with constant and regular openings. The filter membrane also has at least one set formed by a second metal fiber web and a stack of one or more second two-dimensional metal structure with constant and regular openings; the at least one set is provided in between the stack of one or more two-dimensional metal structures that are having constant and regular openings, and the first metal fiber web.
