    摘要: A tooth implant device comprises an abutment and a fixture. The abutment includes an upper portion to which a dental crown is attached and a lower portion whose cross-section decreases to a downward direction. The fixture includes an abutment inserting hole into which the abutment is inserted and is made of a bone-friendly metallic material. The fixture has an outer surface without threaded portions and has stiffness in a range of 5 percents to 40 percents compared to that of a solid form. When the abutment is inserted into the abutment inserting hole, the flexible fixture expands to apply a uniform stress to alveolar bone and be secured thereto in a taper-lock fashion.

Further, first and second support frames may be included for rotatably supporting each center of the first and second pulleys, both ends of which are rotatably connected to each other. The constant velocity joint may also include two rotating pins to rotatably connect the first and second pulleys and the frames at the centers of the first and second pulleys, and two connecting pins for connecting the first and the second frames at their ends and for allowing rotation of the frames.

    摘要: A navigation system for an acetabular cup, which guides an insertion orientation of the acetabular cup inserted into a pelvis during a total hip replacement surgery, includes: a pelvis position tracer which includes probes in contact with three particular points of the pelvis placed on an anterior pelvic plane and a first reference mechanism disposed to indicate a specific reference plane when the probes come in contact with the particular points; and a pelvis position indicator which is fixed to the pelvis, and includes a second reference mechanism that is adjustable to indicate a plane parallel to the specific reference plane indicated by the first reference mechanism, or to indicate a plane perpendicular thereto, or to indicate the both planes. Accordingly, an insertion orientation of an acetabular cup can be guided by using a reference mechanism having a simple structure, and the acetabular cup can be accurately guided regardless of changes in the patient's pelvic position during surgery, because a plane used in the insertion of the acetabular cup can be indicated continuously.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a femoral broaching apparatus for use in preparing a femoral cavity for implantation of a prosthetic joint in surgical orthopedic artificial hip joint replacement arthroplasty procedures. The apparatus comprises a fixing guide unit fixed in the femoral cavity by an interference fit, a cavity preparing broach coupled to the fixing guide unit in a longitudinally movable manner, and a vibration-generating unit coupled to the cavity preparing broach for allowing the cavity preparing broach to perform the preparing of the femoral cavity under operation of the fixing guide unit. According to the present invention, a femoral cavity having an intended accurate shape can be easily prepared using mechanical vibration rather than a manual operation, thereby ensuring operational convenience. Further, since the preparing of the femoral cavity is performed under axial guiding operation of a fixing guide unit, the shape accuracy of the resulting femoral cavity as well as the positional accuracy of a tool, such as a surgical broach, can be improved.
