    摘要: In a governor switch apparatus including a governor mechanism to be driven at various speeds of a rotary element and a switching mechanism to be actuated by the governor mechanism, the switching mechanism comprises a seesaw lever to be actuated at its central portion by the governor mechanism, a first switching device engageable with a first end of the lever and provided with a first normally open switch, a second switching device engageable with a second end of the lever to be assembled symmetrically with the first switching device and provided with a second normally open switch, and a stopper for blocking the movement of the first end of the lever after closure of the first switch. The first switch is closed prior to the second switch due to a difference between the resilient forces given to the first and second switching devices respectively.

    摘要: In an electrical speed sensor for generating an electrical signal proportional to the rotational speed of a vehicle wheel, a first shaft is rotatably mounted and is adapted to be operatively interconnected with an output shaft of the vehicle transmission. The first shaft carries a rotor of magnetic material which is cooperable with a stationary rotor of magnetic material to provide an output signal indicative of the rotational speed. A second shaft is rotatably mounted at a fixed angle relative to the first shaft in operative driven engagement therewith. The rotatable core of a speedometer cable is coupled to one end of the second shaft for rotation therewith to operate the vehicle speedometer.

    摘要: A constant speed driving device has an ejector for supplying negative pressure to an actuator which controls the engine's throttle valve. The ejector includes a diffuser communicating with the engine intake manifold downstream of the throttle valve and a nozzle communicating through a pressure responsive control valve with the intake conduit upstream of the throttle valve and downstream of the supercharger. A negative pressure suction port of the ejector communicates with the negative pressure inlet port of the actuator. The constant speed control device is capable of supplying, even in the operation of the supercharger, a sufficiently increased negative pressure to the actuator for operating the throttle valve without the need to provide a vacuum pump.Further, the speed control device includes an electro-magnetic valve connected to the engine computer, which valve being is responsive to an input signal from the computer to pressure lock the pressure responsive control valve in its closed position so that the pressure from the supercharger cannot cause an air stream to flow through the nozzle. As a result, no negative pressure is applied to the actuator by the ejector.

When the bimetallic element is heated upon energization of the heating coil, deflection of the bimetallic element is assisted by snap action to open the cut-off valve so as to communicate the first and second ports to each other through the hermetic chamber.

    摘要: An electrically driven power steering apparatus develops an assisting steering force to be applied to a steering system in accordance with a driving force detected, by detecting a driving force which is applied to a steering system from steering means and allowing an electric motor of an electric drive mechanism to be energized at a higher power level when the driving force detected is of an increased magnitude and at a reduced power level when the detected driving force is of a reduced magnitude. A voltage output from an onboard power supply is monitored, and when the voltage is below a given value, the motor is energized at a power level which is less than the energization power level which corresponds to the detected driving force. In this manner, a degradation of the onboard battery is prevented which would result from the operation of the electrically driven power steering apparatus when the battery voltage is low or when the charging power is insufficient. The energizing power level applied to the motor is limited by two alternative methods. In one method, the energization of the motor above an upper limit of energization power level is inhibited. In a second method, a lower limit is established for a response driving force, and the energization of the motor is inhibited in response to a driving force which is below the lower limit.

    摘要: A solenoid-operated fluid control valve has an armature assembly which includes a reciprocally movable platelike magnetic valve member and a seal element loosely retained by the valve member and projecting therefrom. A magnetic core defines a fluid passageway and has a valve seating surface at its one end. The valve seating surface of the magnetic core opens in a valve chamber which surrounds the side surface of the magnetic valve member to guide its movement toward and away from the valve seating surface and to maintain the seal element in alignment with the valve seating surface. The seal element has opposed conical or spherical ends and an annular recess therebetween. The seal element loosely engages with and retained by an opening of the magnetic valve member to abut concentric with the valve seating surface of the magnetic core in spite of a slight eccentricity of the assembly within the valve chamber. The solenoid-operated fluid control valve also has a compression spring positioned concentric with the magnetic valve member and bears at one end against the magnetic valve member and a solenoid mounted on a bobbin in which the magnetic core is secured.
