    摘要: Disclosed is a sheet discharging apparatus including a charge eliminating member which is provided downstream a pair of swinging rollers for discharging a sheet, and is directed along a sheet discharging direction from its upstream side toward its downstream side. In the sheet discharging apparatus, the charge eliminating member is directed along the sheet discharging direction from its upstream side toward its downstream side, so that an area of the charge eliminating member facing a sheet is made larger than that of a conventional one, and static electricity of the sheet can be surely removed. Particularly, even when the sheet is a color sheet on which a color image charged with more static electricity than a monochromatic sheet is formed, the static electricity of the color sheet can be surely removed.

    摘要: A conveying direction switching apparatus includes a first and a second blade assembly, and auxiliary blades rotatably provided at a shaft. The auxiliary blades are arranged between the first and second blade assemblies. When conveying bills, the portions of the bills passing between the first and second blade assemblies in the longitudinal direction of the shaft are guided by the auxiliary blades toward the conveying direction of the bills. Thus, the conveying direction of the medium is appropriately switched.

    摘要: The conveying path of an automated teller machine is shortened such that banknote jams are suppressed from occurring. The automated teller machine includes a customer interface section 1 with a deposit/withdrawal port for banknotes, an examination section 3 that examines banknotes, a temporary holding section 4 that holds banknotes, a switching blade 6 that switches the conveying direction of banknotes that have been examined by the examination section 3, a switching timing sensor 5 that detects a switching timing of the switching blade 6, and denominated cassettes 11 that stores banknotes, and these components are connected with the conveying path. A circular arc shaped conveying path 20 formed in a circular arc shape is provided in the conveying path, at a portion connecting from the examination section 3 to the customer interface section 1.
