    摘要: A recording medium is formed of a plurality of flash memories. A recording medium controller manages the recording status of the plurality of flash memories in units of blocks. The recording medium controller controls a data recording process so that data is recorded in such a manner that one or more parallel block sets are constructed which consist of one or more blocks the number of which is determined in accordance with a minimum number of blocks required to obtain a minimum waiting time in the process of recording data in a parallel fashion into the one or more blocks of the recording medium, and the data is recorded in the parallel fashion in the one or more blocks of the one or more parallel block sets, thereby recording data on the recording medium at a high speed. The recording medium controller also controls the data recording process so that data is recorded in such a manner that one or more parallel block sets each consisting of one or more blocks used to record the data are constructed in such a manner as not to create a significant difference in the size of a writable area available for recording data among the plurality of flash memories, and the data is recorded in the parallel fashion in the one or more blocks of the one or more parallel block sets, thereby recording data on the recording medium without creating a significant difference in the writable area size.

A recording medium 3 is such a recording medium having an erasure unit larger than a writing unit, such as a flash memory. When recording data of a file transferred via a transfer control section 5 on a recording medium 3, a recording medium controller 2 records data beginning from the leading position of the erasure unit. Moreover, only data of a given file is recorded in one erasure unit, so that data of another file is not allowed to co-exist in one erasure unit. When re-writing file data, pre-existing files can be erased in a lump without retreating to, for example, an external buffer, thus assuring facilitated memory management, such as readout of file data.

To generate trial listening data containing dummy data, a pseudo random number R is generated first. A remainder r of R divided by 128 is calculated. The remainder r is coded and incorporated into high sound quality restoration data. A bandwidth limitation region of trial listening data is replaced by dummy data starting from its rth bit. As a result, the head position of the dummy data in the trial listening data varies frame by frame, whereby the safety of the trial listening data can be increased.

    摘要: An information transfer system comprises a random accessible recording medium, a request information input section connected to a detachable information recording device, and an information output section connected to the detachable information recording device, thus to output, through the information output section, information read out at random from the recording medium on the basis of request information input through the request information input section. The information recording device stores information input through an information input section into a temporary recording section thereafter to record a recording medium comprised of a plurality of recording medium pieces, thereby making it possible to correctly record information at a high speed even in the case where a recording medium having relatively low write speed is employed. Moreover, the information transfer system sequentially transfers information stored on the basis of an information transfer request signal which requires information transfer from information recording devices having a variety of memory structures and adapted for recording/reproducing input information. The information transfer system carries out a control to record input information in parallel in a traversing order with respect to a plurality of recording medium pieces, thereby making it possible to record information in parallel by simple control with respect to a variety of information recording devices constituted with a recording medium in which the write time is not fixed.
