摘要: A lithium secondary battery including: an inner electrode member having electrode plates (cathode plate and anode plate) of a metal foil as a constituting element, and being formed by winding or laminating electrode plates; and a battery case for housing the inner electrode member. A gas release channel capable of releasing a gas to the outside of the battery case is formed by deformation of the inner electrode member by a function of a raised inner pressure when the inner pressure of the battery case rises to a predetermined pressure or more due to the gas generated inside the inner electrode member. The lithium secondary battery can smoothly release the gas generated inside the inner electrode member without being retained therein before the gas reaches a pressure releasing mechanism; thus, it is superior in safety and has a high energy density.

摘要: A white balance adjustment apparatus for adjusting red, green and blue video signals of an aiming subject has amplifiers for amplifying the R, G, B video signals, respectively, a brightness detector for detecting the brightness of the subject, and a mode selector for selecting either an outdoor lighting mode or an indoor lighting mode in accordance with the brightness detected by the brightness detector. A white detector is provided for receiving the R, G, B video signals for each pixel and detecting a pixel with R, G, B video signals that falls in a narrow white range when the outdoor lighting mode is selected, and in a wide white range when the indoor lighting mode is selected. An integrator integrates the number of detected pixels in the white range. A white balance gain control controls the gain of the amplifiers based on the integrated result of the integrator.

摘要: A method used in an access module that uses a file system to manage a nonvolatile memory of an information recording module enables an available storage space to be calculated in a short time before file data is recorded, and shortens the time required from initialization of the file system to recording. An access module (1) manages information about area management of the file system configured in an information recording module in units of fixed-length blocks. A divisional available storage space calculation unit (103) performs an available storage space calculation process in units of the fixed-length blocks, and completes preparations for recording when detecting a minimum required storage space for recording file data and enables recording of the file data. This shortens the time required from initialization of the file system to recording.
