摘要： The invention provides an apparatus, method, and program for producing small prints, in which function of using an input character string for transfer at different timing is further strengthened to improve usability of the user. In the invention, already produced input data includes information on the input character string already transferred to a print medium. Pieces of already produced input data are stored so that the number of pieces of already produced input data is not more than the upper limit number. In a series of processes starting from a direction for producing the print medium, the storage of the already produced input data is performed in the case of the first transfer for the input character string which is currently transferred. Call of the already produced input data is performed according to the user's selection from the pieces of stored already produced input data, and the character string concerning the called already produced input data is returned to the input character string to which input edit can be performed.

A variety of graphics are useful as framing elements for outer framing and tabulation with no need for increasing the volume of information to be prestored. One optional character, e.g., a pictogram, can be designated as a front ruling element and/or a rear ruling element for outer framing and tabulation. The optional character is chosen from among characters capable of input as character elements in lines of input characters. Upon execution of a print command, dot development is performed with respect to the front ruling portion and/or the rear ruling portion by utilizing fonts as character elements. Line types for upper ruling and lower ruling can also be designated, thereby effecting dot development depending upon the designated types of lines.

摘要： A plurality of photography operations are performed with respect to a single subject with different photography conditions, to obtain a plurality of image data sets. The obtained image data are processed to obtain a single dynamic range expanded image data set. A photography method is selected from among: a first method, in which photography is performed at least twice at different exposures; a second method, in which photography is performed with an underexposure at a step number based on a set dynamic range; and a third method, in which photography is performed at least twice with different underexposures at step numbers based on a set dynamic range, based on whether photography operations are possible at exposure ratios corresponding to the expansion ratio of the dynamic range and whether flash is emitted. Photography is performed according to the selected method, thereby preventing limitations of dynamic range due to hardware specifications.

摘要： According to an exposure apparatus and an exposure method in the present invention, based on a focus value and a leveling value in each exposure shot calculated based on measurements by a focus sensor, differential absolute value for respective value are calculated. The differential absolute values for the focus values and leveling vaule are compared with predetermined threshold vaule for the respective differential absolute values. When the differential absolute values exceed the threshold value, it is determined that an exposure abnormality exists. In such case, based at least the number of exposure area where the exposure abnormality is occurred and distribution of the exposure area where the exposure abnormality is occurred on the object to be exposed, a kind of the exposure abnormality is identifed. The detection of the exposure abnormality is assured, and a cause of the abnormality is determined without lowering manufacturing capabilities and increasing in cost.
