摘要: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, anode gas pressure adjusting means that adjusts the pressure of an anode gas supplied to the fuel cell, and cathode gas pressure adjusting means that adjusts the pressure of a cathode gas supplied to the fuel cell. The system further includes pressure control means that sets the pressure of the anode gas that is supplied when starting the fuel cell higher than the pressure of the anode gas that is supplied during power generation in the fuel cell, and controls the anode gas pressure adjusting means and the cathode gas pressure adjusting means so that a cathode gas pressure increase is started in accordance with the start of an anode gas pressure increase when the pressure of the anode gas is increased to the set pressure.

摘要: A fuel cell is provided with a membrane-electrode assembly 15 in which catalyst layers 15b as a pair of electrodes are bonded to both the surfaces of an electrolyte membrane 15a, and diffusion layers 16 arranged on both the surfaces of this membrane-electrode assembly 15. The membrane-electrode assembly 15 and the diffusion layer 16s are laminated without bonding at least a part between the membrane-electrode assembly 15 and the diffusion layers 16. Thus, sliding and separating between the catalyst layer 15b and the diffusion layers 16 are allowed.

摘要: An electric vehicle such as an electric motorcycle includes a driving motor which activates a wheel via a driving power transmission mechanism (e.g., transmission, a mechanical oil pump which is mechanically activated by the driving motor to feed oil to the driving power transmission mechanism, and an electric oil pump which feeds the oil to the driving power transmission mechanism. A controller causes the electric oil pump to initiate its operation before the driving motor in a deactivated state initiates its operation under a specified condition, thus preventing a situation in which there is no lubrication oil in the driving power transmission mechanism during starting.

摘要: A straddle electric vehicle (e.g., electric motorcycle) comprising a driving motor and an electric power control unit for controlling electric power supplied from batteries to the driving motor, a case of the electric power control unit is mounted to the battery box from outward, and electrode terminals protruding outward from the case are inserted into insertion holes of the battery box. The electrode terminals protruding into inside of the battery box are connected to electrodes of the batteries via electric conductors such as bus bars. In this structure, electric connecting work between the batteries and the electric power control unit can be easily carried out, high-voltage lines can be minimized in length, and the high-voltage lines are not exposed to outside.

The speed change input gears are fixed to one of the input shaft and the output shaft, e.g., the input shaft, in the axial direction and about the axis, the speed change output gears are fixed to the output shaft in the axial direction and are fitted to be rotatable about the axis, and a plurality of slider rings for dog-coupling are fixed to the other shaft about the axis and are provided to be slidable in the axial direction. An engaging hole is formed in the slider rings, and the speed change gears on the other shaft are formed with an engaging projection which can engage with the engaging hole by the movement of the slider rings in the axial direction.
