Appropriate stereoscopic images of an affected site are easily acquired. Provided is a stereo-endoscope device that includes an inserted portion that can be inserted into a subject's body; two imaging devices that are disposed on the inserted portion with a space therebetween; driving units that change the relative angle of the optical axes of the imaging devices; a distance sensor for detecting the distance to the imaging devices from a treatment part of a treatment instrument that is inserted into the subject's body and is used to treat the affected site; and a swivel control section that controls the driving units based on insertion information of the treatment instrument, the insertion information including the distance detected by the distance sensor.
Abstract:
An image system for surgery includes: a three-dimensional imaging unit acquiring two images having parallax by capturing an image of a portion; a display unit displaying two images acquired by the three-dimensional imaging unit individually for both left and right eyes, or displaying a same image for both left and right eyes; a detection unit detecting that a treatment device that performs treatment on the portion or the three-dimensional imaging unit is in an operating state in which to initiate treatment on the portion; and a display control unit switching from displaying one of images on the display unit to displaying two images on the display unit when the detection unit detects the three-dimensional imaging unit or the treatment device is in the operating state in which to initiate treatment on the portion.
Abstract:
A track-forming device can form an insertion route (track) along which a treatment tool is easily inserted. The track-forming device includes: a plurality of track-forming segmented members that are arranged in the longitudinal direction with spaces therebetween; a soft wire that connects the plurality of track-forming segmented members; and a wire pulling section that brings the plurality of track-forming segmented members into contact with each other in the longitudinal direction. When the plurality of track-forming segmented members are brought into contact with each other by the wire pulling section, a predetermined track is formed.

An appropriate stereoscopic image of a subject is readily acquired. Provided is a stereoscopic endoscope device including two image capture elements spaced apart from each other and disposed at a distal end of an insertion section to be inserted into a subject; an angle changing mechanism that changes a relative angle between optical axes of the image capture elements; a distance sensor that detects the distance from the image capture elements to the subject; and a controller that controls the angle changing mechanism on the basis of the distance detected by the distance sensor.
