An inkjet recording method includes the step of attaching a reaction liquid and an ink composition to a recording medium to perform printing, in which the recording medium has an absorbing layer of a paper support in which the amount of water absorbed within 30 msec1/2 from the start of contact in the Bristow method is 30 ml/m2 or less, the reaction liquid contains a polyether-modified polysiloxane-based compound and at least one selected from a polyvalent metal salt, polyallylamine, and polyallylamine derivatives, and the ink composition contains water, a colorant, and resin emulsion particles.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an ink composition which can provide an image having excellent glossy texture to various recording media, particularly to a glossy recording medium, is decreased in bronzing phenomenon, and is also good in fixing property and scratch resistance such as gloss change. The invention relates to an ink composition containing at least a coloring agent coated with a water-insoluble polymer as a coloring material and a resin emulsion as an additive, wherein the weight average molecular weight of the water-insoluble polymer is from 50,000 to 150,000, and wherein the resin emulsion comprises a resin comprising a monomer component of the same kind as the monomer component constituting the water-insoluble polymer and having a weight average molecular weight of 1.5 to 4 times that of the water-insoluble polymer; and an ink composition containing at least a coloring agent coated with a water-insoluble polymer and resin particles, wherein the water-insoluble polymer is a polymer obtained by a solution polymerization process using at least a polymerizable unsaturated monomer and a polymerization initiator, wherein the coloring agent coated with the water-insoluble polymer is a coloring material obtained by a phase inversion emulsification process in which after the water-insoluble polymer is dissolved in an organic solvent, at least the coloring agent and water are added thereto, followed by mixing, and the organic solvent is removed to perform dispersion in an aqueous system, and wherein the resin particles are a polymer obtained by an emulsion polymerization process using at least a crosslinking agent.

    摘要: The present invention provides a black water-based ink composition that has excellent resistance to light and ozone, has an excellent hue as a black ink, and also has excellent storage stability. A black water-based ink composition is prepared by combining at least one type of black dye selected from the group consisting of compounds expressed by the following formula (1) and salts thereof: and at least one type of dye other than a black dye, and the hue is adjusted by adding the dye other than a black dye. It is preferable if the dye other than the black dye is a compound that has at least one type of group selected from the group consisting of an —SO3H group, —COOH group, —SO3M group, and —COOM group (where M in these groups is an alkali metal atom), and is not an ammonium salt or a salt with an organic cation. It is also preferable for the dye other than the black dye to be a dye selected from the group consisting of yellow dyes and magenta dyes.
