    摘要： A terminal management device manages the sharing by at the least one business entity of costs related to distributed terminal devices. In a case that a new business entity, which uses the terminal devices and provides services after the terminal devices have been distributed, the terminal management device computes and totals the differences of shared costs of each business entity, which will change in accordance with the addition thereof. Thus, by managing the changes of a plurality of business entities bearing the costs related to terminal devices, changes in the shares of the costs thereof can be adjusted easily even-in a case that business entities using the terminal devices thereof and providing services change after the terminal devices have been distributed to subscribers: Therefore, the present invention facilitates the participation of a new service business entity in the provision of services using terminal devices subsequent to the terminal devices being distributed.

    摘要： An automotive passenger restraint and protection apparatus includes an electric retractor having a motor for retracting and protracting a seatbealt. The apparatus also includes an airbag driving device, a pretensioner, a speed detecting device, and a controller. The controller controls at least one of the actuation time or expansion pressure of an airbag by the airbag driving device, actuation time of the pretensioner, a force of the pretensioner for retracting the seatbelt, and a force of the seatbelt driving device for retracting the seatbelt, based upon the speed of protraction of the seatbelt. The controller controls the airbag driving device to shorten the actuation time of the airbag when the speed of protraction of the seatbelt is greater than a predetermined value, and prolongs the actuation time of the airbag when the detected speed of protraction of the seatbelt is lower than the predetermined value.

This resin for light guiding plates is made of a polymer prepared by polymerizing a mixture comprising 100 parts by weight of a polymerizable material consisting of 91 to 100% by weight of methyl methacrylate and 0 to 9% by weight of a monofunctional acrylate, and 0.01 to 2 parts by weight of a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate. The resin preferably comprises 0.01 to 1000 ppm of a diffusing agent.

The take-up spindle has a shaft defining a slot through which the webbing may extend, a sleeve fitted externally on the shaft and defining a first slot and a second slot therethrough, and an insert filling out the first slot. Each of the first and second slots of the sleeve permits insertion of the webbing therethrough. The second slot of the sleeve serves to guide the webbing out of the sleeve.

    摘要： Disclosed herein is a latch device for a movable anchor in a passive seat belt system for mounting on a vehicle. The latch device includes a movable anchor, a latch releasably engageable with the movable anchor, actuator means releasably holding the latch in engagement with the movable anchor, an actuator member for bringing the latch into engagement with the movable anchor by way of the actuator means when the movable anchor moves to its occupant-restraining position, and switch means associated with the latch in such a way that it is actuated when the movable anchor has reached the occupant-restraining position and the latch has been brought into engagement with the movable anchor. The position of the latch is directly related to whether the movable anchor has been locked by the latch or not. It is thus necessary to provide only one switch means for stopping the rearward movement of the movable anchor and for confirming the latching between the movable anchor and the latch. The latch device has been rendered compact and economical.
