    摘要: Glycerol oxidase II is an oxidizing enzyme of glycerol characterized by its ability to oxidize glycerol in the presence of oxygen to form hydrogen peroxide and glyceraldehyde. This action of the present enzyme is the same as that of the enzyme glycerol oxidase I disclosed in U.S. application Ser. No. 897,695 filed on Apr. 19, 1978. However, this enzyme has characteristic properties in substrate specificity, optimum and stable pH, optimum temperature for action, substrate affinity (Michaelis constant glycerol). This enzyme is produced by culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Penicillium.

    摘要: Provided is a heat sink which has excellent processability and is economical, even though it employs diamond, as well as, a process for producing the same. The heat sink is molded using a composition obtained by adding a diamond powder of 0.1 to 100 .mu.m high-purity diamond particles to cemented carbide primarily of WC and a balance of at least one metal selected from Co, Ni and Fe along with impurities. The proportion of the diamond powder admixed relative to the cemented carbide is preferably 5 to 90%, and the diamond heat sink is produced by sintering the particulate mixture of diamond, WC, Co, etc. at a temperature of 1200.degree. to 1500.degree. C. under a pressure of 3 to 6 GPa.

    摘要: A method for smelting reduction of iron ore comprises the steps of: preheating and prereducing iron ore; charging said preheated and prereduced iron ore, carbonaceous material and flux into a smelting reduction furnace; blowing oxygen gas through a top blow oxygen lance having decarburizing nozzles and post-combustion nozzles into said smelting reduction furnace, an end of said top blow oxygen lance being arranged between an upper side level of a slag layer and a lower side level of said slag layer; blowing a stirring gas through at least one side tuyere placed in side wall of said smelting furnace and at least one bottom tuyer placed in bottom wall of said reduction furnace so that at least part of said stirring gas introduced through at least one said side tuyere hits a swollen portion of the molten metal by said stirring gas introduced through at least one said bottom tuyere; and controlling a flow rate of said oxygen gas and said stirring gas blown in said smelting reduction furnace so that an OD of infurnace gas of said smelting furnace ranges 0.5 to 1.0, where said OD is represented by the following formula: OD=(H.sub.2 O+CO.sub.2 )/(H.sub.2 +H.sub.2 O+CO+CO.sub.2). And, further, an apparatus used in the above-mentioned method.
