摘要: A method is provided for controlling one or more lighting devices to generate a dynamic light effect based on an image. A first area in the image is selected based on first selection criteria (e.g. object recognition). Within this first area, a sequence of sub-areas (260, 262, 264) are selected based on second selection criteria (e.g. zooming in to a recognized object). Color values are extracted from each sub-area and the one or more lighting devices are controlled based on the extracted color values.

摘要: A luminaire for identifying a lamp shade is disclosed. The luminaire comprises a light source (102), a lamp shade (104) and a second luminaire component (108). The lamp shade (104) comprises at least one surface feature (106) which comprises an identifier, the identifier being representative of at least one characteristic of the lamp shade (104). The second luminaire component (108) comprises a detector (110) arranged for detecting the at least (5) one surface feature (106) of the lamp shade (104). The second luminaire component (108) further comprises a first processor (112) arranged for retrieving the identifier from the detected at least one surface feature (106), and for identifying the at least one characteristic of the lamp shade (104) based on the retrieved identifier. This allows the second luminaire component (108) to control, for example, the light output of the light source (102) based on the identified at least (10) one characteristic, or to transmit the retrieved information to a further device for further control or for informative purposes.

摘要: A lighting control apparatus (106) may include an accelerometer (118), a wireless communication interface (112), and a secure connection (125) for securing the lighting control apparatus to a surface. The secure connection may be configured to transfer motion imparted on the surface to the accelerometer. A controller (108) may be coupled with the accelerometer and the wireless communication interface. The controller may be configured to: receive, from the accelerometer, a signal representative of motion sensed by the accelerometer; determine, based on the signal from the accelerometer, that the sensed motion satisfies a motion criterion; and transmit, over the wireless communication interface to a lighting unit (104) or a lighting system bridge (102), data configured to cause one or more lighting units to emit light having one or more selected properties.

摘要: Methods, lighting control systems, mobile computing devices and computer-readable media are described herein for graph-based navigation through an environment(100). In various embodiments, a graph (220) including a plurality of nodes and a plurality of edges may be provided, e.g., by a lighting control system(130), to mobile computing devices (350) such as smart phones and tablets carried through the environment. Each node may correspond to a location of a lighting effect produced by a particular light source within the environment. Each edge may correspond to a path between two nodes. Data indicative of a path travelled through the graph by one or more mobile computing devices between a first node corresponding to a first location and a second node corresponding to a second location may be used to update the graph. Mobile computing devices may utilize the graph to calculate optimal paths (220) and/or guide users through the environment.

摘要: Systems, methods, mobile computing devices and computer-readable media are described herein relating to light-based positioning. In various embodiments, light sources (106) may be commissioned to selectively energize one or more LEDs (520) to emit light carrying a coded light signal. The coded light signal may convey information about a location of a lighting effect (102) projected by the one or more LEDs onto a surface (104). In various embodiments, mobile computing devices (100) such as smart phones or tablets may detect these coded light signals from the lighting effects and/or from the light sources, extract the location information, and utilize it to determine their locations within an environment.

摘要: A lighting module (100) arranged to be attached to a luminaire (110) is disclosed. The lighting module (100) comprises at least one light source (102) for rendering a light output, and a processor (104) arranged for determining if the lighting module (100) has been attached to the luminaire (110). The processor (104) is further arranged for setting the lighting module (100) to a first mode of operation if the lighting module (100) has been attached to the luminaire (110), and for setting the lighting module (100) to a second mode of operation if the lighting module (100) has been detached from the luminaire (110). The light output of the at least one light source (102) is controlled dependent on a light setting of the luminaire (110) when the lighting module (100) is in the first mode of operation, and the light output of the at least one light source (102) is controlled independent on the light setting of the luminaire (110) when the lighting module (100) is in the second mode of operation. This enables a user to control the light output of the lighting module (100) when it has been attached to the luminaire (110), for example by controlling the light output of the luminaire (110), and to control the light output of the lighting module (100) when it has been detached from the luminaire (110), for example by interacting with the lighting module (100).

摘要: A lighting device for notification and/or atmosphere creation is disclosed. The lighting device (100) comprises at least one light source (102) arranged for rendering a light output. The lighting device (100) further comprises a detector (104) arranged for detecting a first orientation of the lighting device (100) and a receiver (106) for receiving a first signal from a first device (110). The lighting device (100) also comprises a processor (108) arranged for generating a first light setting based on the first signal and the first orientation of the lighting device (100), and for controlling the light output of the at least one light source (102) based on the first light setting in order to apply the generated light setting, wherein the detector (104) is further arranged for detecting a user input indicative of a reorientation of the lighting device (100), and for detecting a second orientation based on the reorientation, and wherein the processor (108) is further arranged for generating a second light setting, based on the first signal and the second orientation of the lighting device (100), and for controlling the light output of the at least one light source (102) based on the second light setting, wherein the light output in the first orientation is different from the light output in the second orientation. This allows a user to change the orientation of the lighting device (100) (e.g. by rotating the lighting device (100)) in order to further control the light setting of the lighting device (100). This further allows the user to control the light notification setting of the lighting device (100) or the atmosphere created by the lighting device (100), while the light setting remains in accordance with the setting of the first device (110).

摘要: Systems, and methods are described herein for identifying and/or controlling influence and/or potential influence of one or more signals on one or more properties of light emitted by one or more lighting units (100). In various embodiments, one or more signals may be identified that influence, or potentially influence, a manner in which a lighting unit controller (110) controls one or more properties of light to be emitted by a lighting unit (100). In some embodiments, a user instruction may be received to alter the manner in which the one or more signals influence how the lighting unit controller (110) controls the one or more properties of light emitted by the lighting unit (100) may be received. The lighting unit controller (110) may control a manner in which light output of the lighting unit (100) is influenced by the one or more signals in accordance with the user instruction.
