摘要： An inductive power outlet is disclosed. The inductive power outlet has a primary inductor, for wirelessly powering an inductive power receiver. The inductive power outlet has a secondary inductor. The primary inductor and the secondary inductor form a resonant frequency. The inductive power outlet comprises a driver generating an oscillating voltage to the primary coil at a frequency higher than the resonant frequency. The inductive power outlet comprises a signal detector. The signal detector comprises a peak detector configured to detect voltage peaks across the primary inductor or current peaks of a current supplied to the primary inductor. The signal detector comprises a processor configured to determine a frequency of either the voltage peaks or the current peaks.

摘要： A hybrid power load balancing system configured to manage the amount of power transfer via a plurality of inductive coils is provided. The system comprises one or more power supplies, a plurality of inductive outlets associated with and configured to be supplied power by each of the power supplies for providing power to loads connected thereto, and a load balancer associated with each of the outlets. A power supply and its associated outlets and load balancers constitute a cluster. The load balancers are configured to grant power classes to the outlets to supply at least a minimum required power class to each of the attached loads.

摘要： An inductive power outlet for providing power to an electric load via an inductive power receiver includes at least one primary inductive coil wired to a power supply via a driver configured to provide a driving voltage across the primary inductive coil such that a secondary voltage is induced in a secondary inductive coil associated with the inductive power receiver. The driver may include a controller configured to receive feedback control signals from the inductive power receiver indicating if more or less power is required. The controller may be further configured to adjust the driving voltage according to the control signals.

The encapsulating pixel includes an optical element which is altered from a first optical state to a second optical state upon when a potential difference is generated across it. The optical element is in contact with two electrodes which are connected to a pixel driver for generating the potential difference. The encapsulated pixel is hermetically sealed from the environment by a sealing layer and the driver receives power wirelessly via an inductive power transmission system.

摘要： A triggerable power transmitter for power transmission from a primary coil to an inductively coupled secondary coil in a power receiver has a primary coil; a driver for electrically driving the primary coil; a probing coil receives analog signals indicative of resonance properties of the primary coil; analog filters may be used to filter frequencies, and a processor capable of generating digital information in response to the analog signal and determining if said primary coil is coupled to a secondary coil based on the digital information, and triggering power from the primary coil to said secondary coil when said primary coil is inductively coupled to said secondary coil. A resistor may be selectably connected in series with the primary coil and shorted out when power is transmitted.

An inductive power outlet may include a body casing for containing a primary inductor a driving unit and a fastening mechanism. The body casing may have dimensions suitable for introduction into a passageway through a plate of the item of furniture. The fastening mechanism may be utilized to secure the body casing to the plate of the item of furniture.
