摘要： An inductive power outlet is disclosed. The inductive power outlet has a primary inductor, for wirelessly powering an inductive power receiver. The inductive power outlet has a secondary inductor. The primary inductor and the secondary inductor form a resonant frequency. The inductive power outlet comprises a driver generating an oscillating voltage to the primary coil at a frequency higher than the resonant frequency. The inductive power outlet comprises a signal detector. The signal detector comprises a peak detector configured to detect voltage peaks across the primary inductor or current peaks of a current supplied to the primary inductor. The signal detector comprises a processor configured to determine a frequency of either the voltage peaks or the current peaks.

The system may include an inductive power outlet unit conductively coupled to a power supply and an inductive power receiver unit associated with the electrical device. The inductive power outlet unit includes a driver device operable to generate power at a plurality of power levels and electrical power is transferred to the electrical device at a power level selected from the plurality of power levels, in accordance with electrical power requirements of the electrical device. The power receiver may be operable in a plurality of modes having a secondary inductor configured to operate selectively with a plurality of inductance values.

摘要： A hybrid power load balancing system configured to manage the amount of power transfer via a plurality of inductive coils is provided. The system comprises one or more power supplies, a plurality of inductive outlets associated with and configured to be supplied power by each of the power supplies for providing power to loads connected thereto, and a load balancer associated with each of the outlets. A power supply and its associated outlets and load balancers constitute a cluster. The load balancers are configured to grant power classes to the outlets to supply at least a minimum required power class to each of the attached loads.

摘要： An inductive power outlet for providing power to an electric load via an inductive power receiver includes at least one primary inductive coil wired to a power supply via a driver configured to provide a driving voltage across the primary inductive coil such that a secondary voltage is induced in a secondary inductive coil associated with the inductive power receiver. The driver may include a controller configured to receive feedback control signals from the inductive power receiver indicating if more or less power is required. The controller may be further configured to adjust the driving voltage according to the control signals.
