Abstract: A system includes a biological sensor measuring biological data of a plurality of customers, a storage storing a plurality of attendant-associated data records, and a processor. Each attendant-associated data record includes the biological data of a customer, a seat identifier, and an attendant identifier associated with each other. The processor calculates at least one stress indicator of at least one customer. Each stress indicator is calculated based on the biological data in one of at least one attendant-associated data record extracted from the plurality of attendant-associated data records and associated with a first attendant identifier. The processor further calculates an evaluation value indicated by the first attendant identifier based on the at least one stress indicator of the at least one customer. The evaluation value is updated based on a registered evaluation value identified by the first attendant identifier stored in the storage, and the calculated stress indicator.

Abstract: A management method manages a plurality of devices provided in a structure, a server includes storage storing operation information related to a plurality of devices and time information of a time at which it is expected that no one is present. The method specifies, for each device, operation times at which an operation is performed, operation information, specifying in-structure-absence times when it is expected that no one is present, both in accordance with the time information. For each device, time differences for the specified operation times are calculated. For each device, a performed certain operation is a behavior pattern correlated to a behavior when the person continues being present when a ratio of a frequency of the calculated time differences regarding the corresponding device, which is lower than a particular value, is equal to or lower than an other value.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method receives, from a user device, user ID information, a target emotional state value, and target time information, acquires personal physiological rhythm data of a user including a plurality of emotional state values from a data storage, acquires present time information, determines a present emotional state value from the plurality of emotional state values, calculates a difference value between the present emotional state value and the target emotional state value, estimates a spontaneous variation of an emotional state value based on the physiological rhythm data, compensates the difference value by the spontaneous variation, selects a content that is expected to cause the emotional state value of the user to change by the compensated difference value, and provides the selected content to the user device.

Abstract: A stress alleviation system, includes: a biological sensor measuring first biological data of a customer boarding transportation; an action application apparatus provided to a transportation seat and applying an action to the customer for alleviating a stressed state of the customer sitting on the seat; a stress data saver previously saving specific stress data where a customer identifier identifying the customer and a second stress indicator calculated using second biological data measured in past boarding of the customer are associated; a stressed state assessor assessing whether the customer is in the stressed state by calculating a first stress indicator of the customer on board using the first biological data of the customer, and by comparing the first stress indicator with the second stress indicator; and an action controller transmitting a control signal causing the action to the action application apparatus when the customer is assessed as in the stressed state.

Abstract: A first device, upon detecting participation in an authentication system, transmits new and old identification information of a first certificate revocation list that the first device manages to a second device. In a case where the new and old identification information of a second certificate revocation list that the second device manages is older than the new and old identification information of the received first certificate revocation list, the second device transmits a transmission request for the first certificate revocation list to the first device. Upon receiving the transmission request for the first certificate revocation list from the second device, the first device transmits the first certificate revocation list to the second device. the second device updates the second certificate revocation list using the received first certificate revocation list.

Abstract: A data processing device for playing back a digital work reduces the processing load involved in verification by using only a predetermined number of encrypted units selected randomly from multiple encrypted units constituting encrypted contents recorded on a DVD. In addition, the data processing device improves the accuracy of detecting unauthorized contents by randomly selecting a predetermined number of encrypted units every time the verification is performed.

Abstract: There is provided a stress management system that manages psychological stress of a user. The system includes: a first sensor that detects biological data of a user; a second sensor that detects life log data indicating an activity history of the user; a generator that generates stress data using the biological data, the stress data indicating a time series variation in a stress level of the user; an estimator that, when the stress level included in the stress data exceeds a threshold value, estimates whether or not stress experienced by the user is interpersonal stress that is caused by contact with other people, using the life log data; and a notifier that notifies the user of a result of the estimation by the estimator.

Abstract: A function update method improving household appliance functions by enabling new and existing household appliances to perform cooperative processing. In the method, a server stores registration information listing identification information for each household appliance owned by a user, combination information listing combinations each including household appliances performing cooperative processing, and update information for each household appliance in each combination, for updating a function for performing the cooperative processing. The method includes: receiving, from a household appliance having identification information not listed in the registration information, a request to list the identification information in the registration information, and listing the identification information in the registration information; selecting a combination listed in the combination information, the combination including the household appliance and all other household appliances in the combination being registered in the registration information; and transmitting update information to each household appliance requiring a function update in the combination.
