    Abstract: When a use range of an SOC (State Of Charge) of a secondary battery is expanded, the use range of the SOC is expanded by increasing an upper limit value or decreasing a lower limit value of the use range of the SOC. The increasing the upper limit value or decreasing the lower limit value of the use range of the SOC is determined to a side causing a smaller increase in a degradation rate of the secondary battery, based on at least one of a cycle degradation characteristic that defines a cycle degradation rate in accordance with the use range of the SOC and a current rate of the secondary battery and a storage degradation characteristic that defines a storage degradation rate in accordance with the SOC and a temperature of the secondary battery, and a typical use condition of the secondary battery based on a use history of the secondary battery.

    Abstract: Light receiver includes first optical element emitting received light to a light receiving fiber side; and second optical element collecting the light incident from the first optical element on a light receiving fiber. First optical element includes prism surface inclined with respect to light incident surface. The prism surface includes first surface 4a reflecting the incident light parallel to the light incident surface and second surface reflecting the light on a side opposite to the second optical element. The first surface includes first region in which the light reflected in parallel to the light incident surface is incident on the second optical element, and second region in which the light reflected in parallel to the light incident surface transmits through the adjacent second surface, is incident and refracts on the adjacent first surface, and is incident on the second optical element while being totally reflected inside the first optical element.

    Abstract: A charger information holding unit of a management system holds an identification information item and charging efficiencies of a plurality of chargers for charging an electric vehicle, the identification information item and the charging efficiencies being associated with each other. A communication unit of the management system receives an identification information item on a charger from an electric vehicle connected to the charger, via a network. A creating unit of the management system creates a charging plan for the electric vehicle, based on a required charging amount and a target charging termination time. The creating unit of the management system refers to the charger information holding unit and determines a charging efficiency of the charger connected to the electric vehicle, based on the received identification information item, and creates a charging plan with the charging efficiency of the charger. The communication unit of the management system transmits the created charging plan to the electric vehicle via the network.

    Abstract: An optical multiplexer includes: incident surface on which a plurality of incident light beams having different wavelengths are incident; first reflection portion that reflects the plurality of incident light beams; and emission surface that emits a plurality of reflected light beams reflected by the first reflection surface. The incident surface is provided with a plurality of adjacent condenser lenses corresponding to respective incident light beams. The first reflection surface has a plurality of adjacent reflection surfaces that reflect the light beams condensed by the condenser lenses. The plurality of reflection surfaces are respectively disposed so that angle β formed by the respective reflected light beams reflected by the adjacent reflection surfaces is smaller than angle α formed by the respective incident light beams condensed by the adjacent condenser lenses. The emission surface is provided with diffraction grating in which respective reflected light beams reflected by the plurality of reflection surfaces are incident at a same position and diffracted in a same direction.

    Abstract: A headlight for a vehicle having good heat dissipation performance includes a plurality of lens units, each including a plurality of light emitting devices, and lenses arranged so as to face the respective plural light emitting devices. The plurality of light emitting devices include first light emitting devices arranged on an inner side of the vehicle and having a first light emitting area and second light emitting devices arranged on an outer side of the vehicle having a second light emitting area. A first light distribution emitted from first lens units having the first light emitting devices and a second light distribution emitted from second lens units having the second light emitting devices are included, and the second light emitting area is smaller than the first light emitting area as well as a range of the second light distribution is smaller than a range of the first light distribution.
