    摘要: A system and method for delivering viscous fluid, having a viscosity in excess of about 100,000 SSU, wherein the system includes a reservoir for a viscous fluid under substantially uniform gas pressure, a dual mode dispense valve having a fluid supply port connected to the reservoir, a fluid dispense port, and a valve head opening and closing the dispense port, the valve head including a high flow valve part and a low flow valve part, a high flow valve part seat defining the dispense port and receiving the high flow valve part for seating the valve head to close the dispense port, the high flow valve part having a low flow dispense opening extending therethrough and a low flow valve part seat defining the opening, the high and low flow valve parts being reciprocally movable together and also relative to each other for dispensing from the dispense port fluid supplied from the reservoir to the supply port, alternately at a high flow rate with the high flow valve part removed from its seat for opening the dispense port, and at a low flow rate with the low flow valve part removed from its seat for opening the low flow dispense opening and with the high flow valve part seated on its seat. A gas knife is formed, for separating and dispensing viscous fluid from the valve head.

    摘要: A process for recycling and reconstituting flexographic inks from wash water resulting from cleaning the rollers and other components of a flexographic printing press. The process includes the steps of circulating the wash water through a cross-flow ultrafilter to separate an optically-clear filtrate from a first concentrate containing suspended ink solids, bacteria, and macromolecules. Thereafter, the filtrate is directed through a reverse-osmosis filter to separate from the filtrate a second concentrate containing dissolved ink components and the remaining bacteria. The first and second concentrates are then combined together with a compatible biocidal agent to form a stable, biologically-inactive additive that is mixed with fresh ink concentrate to form pressready flexographic printing ink.

    摘要: A two-stage coaxial shower head that allows conventional water flow through the shower head or a mixture of product and water through a product low flow nozzle. The product may be such liquids as soap, moisturizer, shampoo, or hair conditioner. Products are contained within product pressure reservoirs each with a product section and a piston. During a shower, a user rotates a selector dial at the multi-ported spool valve to select a product or conventional water flow for rinsing. When a product is selected water flow through a water supply tube from the multi-ported spool valve to the shower head will cease and pressure to force water down to the lower part of a product reservoir to raise the piston in the product pressure reservoir to reject product that is transported to a shower head section. A version using electronics instead of hydraulics is also presented.

Methods of sanitizing hazardous waste material are described and include: a) providing a unitary shredder system, b) providing a transport system, a pre-treatment system or a combination thereof, comprising a reciprocating operation system, c) providing a treatment system, d) providing a dewatering system, a desolutionizing system or a combination thereof, e) providing a collection system for disposal, f) providing a hazardous waste material, g) introducing the hazardous waste material into the shredder system to produce a shredded waste material, h) transporting the shredded waste material to the treatment system utilizing the transport system, the pre-treatment system or a combination thereof, wherein the treatment system, the pre-treatment system or the combination thereof comprises a reciprocating operation system, i) treating the shredded waste material to produce a shredded treated material, j) dewatering or desolutionizing the shredded treated material, and k) collecting the shredded treated material in the collection system. Dewatering processes are also disclosed that includes at least one collection of wastes, at least one screw press, at least one conveyor system that carries the at least one collection of wastes after interaction with the at least one screw press, and at least one filter system.
