    摘要: The present invention is an occlusion device adapted for implantation into a fluid flow-supporting body lumen. The occlusion device comprises a flexible support structure and a flexible fluid flow-occluding membrane that is positioned concentric with the flexible support structure. The support structure is formed from a plurality of interwoven filaments that form an axially flexible and radially compressible structure that, in its expanded state, engages the lumen. The membrane generally includes a constricted region and constriction means, such as a mechanical seal, for closing the membrane at one end. The membrane is formed from a plurality of filaments, and in one embodiment, the membrane filaments are tightly interbraided with the structure filaments to form the occlusion device. Alternatively, the membrane is separately fabricated of interwoven filaments, and is positioned either within the support structure or without the structure so as to surround the support structure.

The occlusion device comprises a flexible support structure and a flexible fluid flow-occluding membrane that is positioned concentric with the flexible support structure.     摘要: Disclosed are plug connector assemblies having external contacts formed on only one surface of a connector body of the assembly. In some embodiments, the connector body includes a plastic tip integrally formed within a ground ring that is otherwise made from metal. Additionally, in some embodiments, the plug connector has a base portion with feet on opposing sides of the plug that each includes a hole that can be used to attach the plug connector to an encasing or other structure of a base electronic device it is incorporated into. In some embodiments, the plug connector extends upwardly away from the base at a predetermined angle such that the contacts are located on the side of the plug connector that forms an acute angle with the base.

    摘要: A intraluminal stent comprises a reticulated tube having an un-deployed diameter and expandable to an enlarged diameter. The tube includes a structural beam extending between first and second ends. The structural beam changes from a first geometry to a second geometry when the tube changes from the un-deployed diameter to the enlarged diameter. The structural beam includes first and second longitudinal elements each extending at least partially between the first and second ends and with a spacing between the first and second elements. Each of said first and second elements changes from the first geometry to the second geometry when the tube changes from the un-deployed diameter to the enlarged diameter for the spacing to remain substantially unchanged as the tube changes from the un-deployed diameter to the enlarged diameter.

    摘要: A stent delivery system includes inner and outer tubular members with the outer tubular member sized to pass through the body lumen to the deployment site and with the inner tubular member sized to be received within the outer tubular member. The inner and outer tubular members are axially slideable relative to one another between a transport position and a deploy position. The inner tubular member has a stent attachment location at its distal end. The stent attachment location is covered by the outer tubular member when the inner and outer tubular members are in the transport position. The stent attachment location is exposed when the inner and outer tubular members are in the deploy position. A first handle is provided rotatably connected to a proximal end of the outer tubular member for the first handle to transmit to the outer tubular member axial forces applied to the handle by an operator and to rotate freely about the axis relative to the outer tubular member.
