摘要： A control member is rotatable to alter a control flow area of a primary flow path of a valve, with the control flow area being of a rectangular shape having a side defined by a wall of a valve interior, a side defined by a wall of a control member exterior, a bottom defined by a floor of the valve interior and a top defined by a roof of the valve interior. The control member exterior is so configured that rotation of the control member alters a distance between the control member exterior and the wall of the valve interior to alter the control flow area of the primary flow path, with the amount of rotation of the control member between two predetermined end positions and the alteration in the control flow area of the primary flow path being substantially linearly proportional.

The laminated wall defines: an air inlet; a regulator channel having a first end communicating with the air inlet and a second end defining a bubble outlet; and a wetting system for maintaining liquid in the regulator channel so as to ensure that air entering a headspace of the cartridge first passes through said liquid. The regulator channel is dimensioned to control a Laplace pressure of air bubbles drawn from the bubble outlet as result of supplying ink to a printhead, and thereby regulates a hydrostatic pressure of the ink.

摘要： A respiratory mask assembly for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a frame and a cushion. The cushion has a non-face contacting portion structured to be connected to the frame, a face-contacting portion structured to engage the patient's face, and a central portion that interconnects the non-face contacting portion and the face contacting portion. The frame may be structured to allow a forehead support to assume multiple positions, to compensate for replacement cushions that may have a different profile, shape or size. The cushion is structured to compensate for variations in strap tension, treatment pressure and/or movement of the patient. Headgear may be provided with a strap assembly in which one or more straps is provided with selectively adjustable elasticity or extensibility that may be automatically changed in dependence of treatment pressure and/or treatment type.
