摘要： A repositionable mounting material comprises a mounting material having a major surface and comprising inorganic fibers. A layer of repositionable pressure-sensitive adhesive inwardly disposed along at least a portion of the first major surface. The layer of repositionable pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises: adhesive microspheres having a first particle size distribution with at least one mode, each of which has a D50 of at least 30 micrometers; and binder particles having a second particle size distribution with at least one mode, wherein each mode has a D50 that is less than 10 micrometers, and wherein at least one of the at least one modes has a D50 below one micrometer. The repositionable mounting material is useful in manufacture of pollution control devices. Methods of making the foregoing are also disclosed.

摘要： A thermosettable pressure sensitive adhesive tape comprising at least first and second adhesive layers bonded together. Each of the adhesive layers comprises a thermosettable pressure sensitive adhesive, which is the photo-polymerization reaction product of starting materials. The starting materials for each adhesive layer comprises at least a photo-polymerizable acrylic component and a thermosettable epoxy component. The thermosettable pressure sensitive adhesive, used for either of the two adhesive layers, is not black when fully cured without the presence of a black coloring pigment. The first adhesive layer is made from a layer of starting materials that is thin enough to allow substantial photo-polymerization of the starting materials, even with the starting materials containing a sufficient amount of a black coloring pigment to cause the first adhesive to have a black color after the first adhesive is substantially cured. The second adhesive layer is made from a layer of starting materials which has a thickness that would be sufficiently thick to prevent substantial photo-polymerization (e.g., with UV light) of the starting materials, if the starting materials contained enough of a black coloring pigment to cause the second adhesive to have a black color after the second adhesive is cured.

The optical sheet comprises a non-metallic multi-layer optical film that has multiple optical layers, and can be, for example, a solar energy reflective film (e.g., an infrared radiation reflective film). The multiple layers are thermally and/or otherwise fused together along all, substantially all or at least a substantial portion of the peripheral edge of at least the optical film, so as to prevent or at least substantially reduce the occurrence or degree of delamination of the multiple layers along all, substantially all, or the substantial portion of the peripheral edge of the optical film. At least the optical film can be dimensioned such that, when bonded to a glazing component, all, substantially all or at least the substantial portion of the peripheral edge of at least the optical film is positionable so as to be co-extensive with or substantially co-extensive with a corresponding portion of the peripheral edge of the glazing component to which the optical sheet is to be bonded.

摘要： The present invention provides kits of orthopedic casting materials comprising a sheet of curable casting material, a lubricant, and an air and water impermeable package comprising a laminate sheet material and a means for facilitating tearing of the sheet material when the outer surface of the pouch has been contacted with the lubricant. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention the means for facilitating the tearing of the sheet comprises a matte-finish paper label material adhered to the outer surface of the package and crossing a cut. In another preferred embodiment of the present invention the means for facilitating the tearing of the sheet comprises a plurality of perforations through the sealed portion of the package adjacent a cut.

The mounting material is useful in pollution control devices. A method of making the mounting material is also disclosed.

摘要： A kit of curable orthopedic casting/splinting materials in a substantially hermetic heat sealed pouch formed from laminate sheet-material having a heat sealable inner layer bonded to an outer layer. The pouch includes a multiplicity of fibers that facilitate tearing the laminate sheet material in a predetermined direction. The multiplicity of fibers are disposed between the inner and outer layers of the laminate sheet material, and are generally equally spaced across the entire width of the material. A notch and a friction region are also preferably provided to facilitate tearing the pouch.
