    摘要: A method for determining wind turbine location within a wind power plant based on at least one design criteria. A wind turbine layout including at least one wind turbine location is prepared and site conditions at each wind turbine location are determined. One or more plant design metrics are evaluated in response to the site conditions. The plant design metrics are analyzed in response to the site conditions. The method further includes applying constraints to the wind turbine layout and comparing the plant design metrics to the design criteria and constraints. Thereafter, the wind turbine locations are selectively adjusted within the layout in response to the comparing step until a stop criteria is reached.

    摘要: A liquid cooled thermal control system and method for cooling an imaging system are provided. One imaging system is a computed tomography (CT) system having a detector that is positioned on a detector rail. The detector includes a plurality of detector components. At least some of the detector components are configured to detect x-rays. A liquid cooled thermal control system is provided having cooling channels in thermal communication with the detector rail. The cooling channels have a cooling fluid flowing therethrough to control a temperature of the detector components in response to one or more disturbances that changes a temperature of the x-ray detector. A control module is also provided in the liquid cooled thermal control system to adjust parameters of the liquid cooled thermal control system in response to the disturbances.

    摘要: A technique is disclosed for evaluating and monitoring performance of a heat exchanger system. Operating parameters of the system are monitored and fouling factors for heat transfer surfaces of the exchanger are determined. Trending of fouling may be performed over time based upon the fouling factors, and a model of fouling may be selected from known sets of models, or a model may be developed or refined. Fluid treatment, such as water treatment regimes may be taken into account in evaluation of fouling. An automated knowledge based analysis algorithm may diagnose possible caused of fouling based upon sensed and observed parameters and conditions. Corrective actions may be suggested and the system controlled to reduce, avoid or correct for detected fouling.

The method includes identifying an optimization objective and one or more decision variables for optimization. Furthermore, the method includes optimizing the optimization objective based on wake-affected wind conditions, power capture values, or damage equivalent load values, to calculate optimum decision variable values for each wind turbine. The method also includes transmitting the optimum decision variable values to the respective wind turbines. In addition, the method includes applying the optimum decision variable values to the respective wind turbines to achieve the optimization objective. Systems and non-transitory computer readable medium configured to perform the method for optimizing one or more farm-level metrics in a wind farm are also presented.
